It is more likely to be hardware than software. What software in IP4 can cause overheating? I suggest to take a snapshot of the screen and show it to the people at maxis centre

Mine is Digi set, i dun think show the picture to Digi center will take any action, because they will say this is your phone overheat problem, since it come out this msg. smile.gif

well im guessing mayb the ip4 was runnin a power hungry software bhind although it was closed by the owner, thus causin excessive heat. im just assumin lar. it might be a software error of managing background apps. dats y i suggested a clean restore, and if the problem stil persist, go ahead n claim ur waranty.

well i tried few times, is caused mainly by 3G and wifi. the part behind the home button gets hot first.

i put it on my desk and do radio streaming, and the bottom part gets hot and then the backside of the whole thing gets hot. sad.gif but no shutdown yet though...

when i off everything, only normal phone fuctions, its ok.

Oh please, they won't be any revised batch or improved models. This whole antenna issue is just over exaggerated.

So much for wanting a revised version. Your best bet would be to wait until next July. I hope this antennagate issue will stop already
