Hi guys just an update on the proximity sensor issue. I was using the privacy screen protector and that's causing the problem. After i removed the screen protector, all is well. Apparently the screen protector was confusing the proximity sensor. Anyone using the privacy protector without problems with the proximity sensor?

if you have casing on ip4, then it will solve the death grip.

I definitely see a big difference between the cast or hue on white screens between my new Iphone 4 and older Iphone3GS. The Iphone 4 has a yellowish cast to white backgrounds as compared to Iphone 3gs.

As you can compared to the photo i attached ..Top one is Ip4 , bottom is 3GS

Please comments if any..btw i yet to compared with my frens ip4.

not sure i had recall on the 3GS article which mention had more of a blue bias instead of ip4...However, the ip4 should not appear grossly yellow to everyone, and we should compare it to other iP4 phones. biggrin.gif

The first batches of Iphone 3GS also has this yellowish screen effect, i have it on my 3GS compared to my brothers 3GS which he bought much much later the first batches seems to have the yellowish tint , it seems that first batch of iphone 4 also has it.

2 guys here confirmed that already.

For those who know about my dad's screen faulty issue, yeah we went to maxis centre TTDI today, they tried a hard reset, as well as factory restore and the problem still persisted.

They replaced it with a brand new iphone (same 32GB model). The guy even transferred the film protector as well. Not bad! So yes the warranty does work.
