@moderator, can we lock this thread, and only have TS & others with real info to post? this is not a 'troubleshooting' thread.

I guess it is always good to help out fellow forumers with problems and to put a blanket ban is completely out of the question. However, we do hope that people can use the search button just to get the info they want to avoid repeated questions.

Help us and help yourselves! notworthy.gif

hey guys~~!!! tried the death grip yesterday. A little background info.

I'm using the IPhone 4 32gb, staying in Kuching city and i tried the deathgrip n a house. I had a full bar signal on 3G, and i tried the death grip and held it there for 2 mins. The signal dropped a bar, and went back to full again and never did drop after. I tried SUPER DEATH GRIP, eg. both hands covering the sides of the phone and still nothing happened.....i must be lucky, or the signal coverage in my area is extremely strong!!!

whole screen??

and max brightness?

Added on September 27, 2010, 8:35 pmmy gawd i'm terribly affected by the death grip... even holding the sides abit (not fully gripping it) will drop bars till zero and become SEARCHING/No Service..

but in certain areas, fully gripping it only drops it to some 2 bars...
maxis set week 35...

places with weak reception sure will have DEATH GRIP problem !

i tried in my room with with weak reception. After cover with my hands, the bar dropped from 5 to 2 bars (my iPhone 3G also same)

however, i tried the Death Grip outside the house, NO PROBLEM at all and would not drop a single bar !
