Was looking at some LOTR stories and screenshot in the movie, and came towards LOTR online.. Then took a glimpse in the official website.. Found out that it is quite cool.

Btw, this F2P game, free player can only enjoy up to Level 65 or 75?

Quite confused after looking at the official website that indicated free player can enjoy up to level 65, while the other part say 75.

Hello,

F2P player level are capped at 65. To be able to progress towards 75, you will need to buy the Rise of Isengard expansion using Turbine points (which are available by doing deeds in the game or using your credit card), and it will unlock several quest packs and the level cap too.

Oh, I see.. Now this solve my curiosity.

Playing for free until Level 65, is it easy?

Nah, the F2P content would last you till lv40 i think. But along the way, you'll get to collect a sum of TP's for you to buy the quest packs you need.

However, the Rise of Isengard expansion is really worth it for new players.

a few of us lvl 60+ are currently doing regular small fellowship skirmishes, and is it fun and challenging. so i invite those who take a break from lotro to come back and join us at top level, so that we can have more fun doing the proper fellowship skirmish together.... the more the merrier.

by the way, Aervanhad and Badgal, i'm proposing we try School/Library of Tham Mirdain next time....

this game mechanics is diff from others especially the traits system. correct me if im wrong.

theres no talent tree like other mmos but there are Virtues, Racial Traits, Class Traits, and Legendary Traits that can be earned thru deeds/gameplay

this mechanics combine with the storyline (short instances/game scene) somehow makes this game enjoyable for me. =)

btw thanks feramin for the armor, it really high level for my toon. i think ur name is feramin..=)

ah... so you're the doktor..... hehe... it's ok... i'm just helping a friend in the game.....

the game rewards you by playing it more... just play it at your own pace and enjoy the lore... it is very nice indeed...

btw, it is Farimin ... and i have few other toon in the game/kin i.e. Farinas, Fariburge and Khuldan.... haha.... not really an altaholics,but just trying different playstyle...
