WOW!!!!!!! both TP and QP discounts!! biggrin.gif

are you guys gonna go for the 8k TP discounts? hmm.. with that do you think its worth getting all QPs??
*
each QP has pro and cons, mostly in the way u are playing, either grouping or solo. if you are about to solo mostly, prior to Eregion just get Evendim and Forochel. If you like grouping and have a group to play with most of the time then North Down and Angmar are the options prior to Eregion.

some people like Trollshaw but I hate it..lol.

in Eregion however, the content are mostly soloable.

yeah.. it is like a Guild actually.... but in Lotro it is called Kinship... coz if you talk about guild in lotro, people will quickly refer to crafting guild, not the Guild as in other game like Guild Wars, WoW etc

oh, yeah, forgot... just bought myself the base edition of Rise of Isengard expansion for $14.99 only (50% offer)

Heh I mean, the correct term to start an epic journey (ie: into the world of Middle Earth) with a bunch of people would be more appropriate to be called a fellowship rather than a 'party' of people. Get it? biggrin.gif

If you still don't get it, just ignore them. Its just a language joke. laugh.gif

Btw, what's your IGN again Teddysaur?

Some quest with good reward I believe are the only one need you to purchase.
Without purchasing too you can actually do quests.

the second one,no idea.

to answer your question :

i. not to say that without buying quest pack you'll not be able to do ANY quest. LOTRO give you free access to quests on 4 maps (ered-luin, shire, bree, lone-lands) to begin with, after you created your free2play account. these quests are enough to take you to level 34 i believe. only after that, when you're running out of quest, and want to do more, you'll need to unlock the quests in other areas/maps by purchasing quest pack for that map. if you decide to unlock the map using turbine point, it stays unlocked forever to your account-wide characters.

ii. if however you decide to become a vip, you'll have access to all eriador maps quests during the duration of you vip subscription, and become locked again once your subs ended unless you did unlock it via turbine point prior to you subs OR unlock it again via vip subs again or turbine point...

One point to note. In general, if you level up without rushing through the content, by the time you reach level 30-34, you will have accumulated more than enough Turbine points to buy the next quest pack. (There are several you can get for your level range but Evendim is the one which gives you the best bang for your points).

The next quest pack after that, you will probably need to start farming some turbine points for or just play another class. I regularly get about 500 points a month from casual play. That said, I have a lot of toons whistling.gif
