I seldom use phone calls, so can't confirm with you. I online a lot, if on 2.5G, online in 3 IM accounts, and minor-moderate surfing, can last around 7~8 hours or longer. If heavy usage, probably by half day already left 30% or less. I carry the DC-11 around for extra power.
I charge my N900 everyday as I use it quite heavily. I can only say, I have never have one phone that can keep me hooked on and always use it. I hardly touch my iPod Touch 3G; bought it solely for the GPS and some apps and mostly games, but honestly speaking, gaming, I still prefer PSP with real controls. The thing is, there're many games that only available for iOS, and that's not nice. They should make it available for real consoles or portable gaming device with real controls. Playing with touchscreen kinda sux for certain types of game.

just got back from hatyai after 3 days trip.
FUN..FUN..and FUN
i copied the DCIM folder into my internal memory..it say overwrite..i say yes (all done using my N900) and it should work fine..even for a computer noob.
Then, connected to pc after coming back, trying to upload the pic, POP..gone!
everything gone! FML!!!!!!!!

anything that can revert/undo/save/mend/fix/bug/hack it?

and it's the saddest moment..i wonder how they react when i say "all the thai lenglui pic gone".

it should be..but..i cant find it..im freaking sure it's copy..but then it just disappear.

try search keyword. Never had such issue disappear files

my mistake i guess..luckily only last day photos..if all then im dead meat..dunno y they prefer asking N900 to take pic instead of dlsr cam.

Fcam oso not yet install..dun have sufficient time to explore Fcam..maybe next trip i will show off.

Just checked at App Manager and it written there Fcam Drivers lol ! It seem like I couldn't find Fcam in my app manager maybe I should look around maemo.org then x.x
