the a380 is definitely more spacious, although the seats may appear the same, thinner seats mean more leg room, very much quieter, and more space to move around/exercise on long flights....but the difference is not the aircraft, but what the airlines do with it....so you will find different levels of experience with different airlines.....even in cattle class....

i like qantas' self service counters, where you can help yourself to drinks, fruits, biscuits....unfortunately mas has decided not to do likewise....

Clothes wise not going to bring much, food too. But on a normal vacation which is around a week+ I would bring luggage around 15kg too..

Thank god I received my Visa without much issue.. but somehow VFS has really gone crazy? the mail was send with registered mail without  need of recipient  acknowledgement.. When I opened up, all my original academic transcript, passports and documents were inside together.. Imagine if the delivery boy lost it.. ZZzzzz

Nah, i won't be bringing exactly 40kg worth of big fat tight luggage. I'll be flying alone, u know. My frens and other classmates are flying later than me. Also, my clothes are not many to begin with. I'm not the fashionista type of girls. I'm the polo and chinos/jeans type. Insane

Yeah, Emirates do offer 40kg luggage. KLM must separate though.

So, how u guys will be holding your lappie? I thought of putting in the laptop sleeve and 'balut' along with some bubble wraps and sandwich together with my clothes in the checkin luggage

these are all fine....just declare them....

they will ask you to go through the red lane....but don't be surprised if you find no custom officer in that lane (remember, most people arrive like 5am on long haul flights from asia)...they seem more interested in doing random searches in the green lane.....

ah...generally scottish airports are friendlier....the worst airport is heathrow...
