Nobody fakes GBP notes.... Unlike the USD....

But avoid Scottish pounds notes....although I doubt they ever make their way out of UK....

always check on sites like idealo.co.uk to compare price between sites (or ebay ) once you have specific model to grab. for example, that monitor is cheaper on this site compared to amazon

£50 is the common note for fake ones. One of my friend got scammed with fake £50 notes when he sold his stuff last year.

I went to UWE Bristol for my last year of degree study as well, for 2011-12.
I gotta say Giffgaff+1. Giffgaff is pretty much the cheapest if you prefer getting unlimited data plan. I used Giffgaff throughout my stay in UK.
For making calls back to Malaysia though, there are some better options, can't remember the names. Any other forumers' help will be appreciated.
