Can anyone recommend some trustworthy and reasonable money changer whr i can exchg to gbp in kl area preferably near gombak area or the city centre...

Is thr a way to prevent from being cheated by money changer with fake gbp or a way to identify fake gbp?

Thank you

Nobody fakes GBP notes.... Unlike the USD....

But avoid Scottish pounds notes....although I doubt they ever make their way out of UK....

Any recommendations of where to buy a monitor in the UK? I'm currently interested in this one.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0084FNAB4/ref=...=I35DTMW8JVKWAA

Or should I just order from Amazon?

Got the mail this morning.

"Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days depending on which country you applied from or will be couriered back to you only if you have availed of this service. UKVI"

Does that mean my visa will be ready within 3 working days>?
Note: referred. Got my answer.

always check on sites like idealo.co.uk to compare price between sites (or ebay laugh.gif) once you have specific model to grab. for example, that monitor is cheaper on this site compared to amazon
http://www.alternate.co.uk/ASUS/PA248Q/html/product/1007470?
or even cheaper on ebay (but the seller is from Germany)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Display-LED-61cm...0-/121431581215

don't ever go grab stuff from maplin/currys/pc world (unless emergency) as most of the time the prices are quite high

£50 is the common note for fake ones. One of my friend got scammed with fake £50 notes when he sold his stuff last year.

I don't think it'll drop by much, because people are snapping them up just as much as people are letting them go. #notaneconomistbutwhatever

if you have a smartphone, you can get the giffgaff network, it's piggy back O2 network. others network in bristol is bit rubbish except O2. O2 is something like Maxis. try google giffgaff, you can earn some free credit if you recommend to your friend when you start your degree and got kaki over here. otherwise if you don't have smartphone and want to get a deal, you probably need to go to the shop on the high street and see what they can offer to you.
*
I went to UWE Bristol for my last year of degree study as well, for 2011-12.
I gotta say Giffgaff+1. Giffgaff is pretty much the cheapest if you prefer getting unlimited data plan. I used Giffgaff throughout my stay in UK.
For making calls back to Malaysia though, there are some better options, can't remember the names. Any other forumers' help will be appreciated.

Is anyone here going to, or went to Nottingham Trent before? May I know how is the uni? Environment, living, uni standard etc. Thanks in advance.
