Not bad CL4 on a low bin D9GMH wink.gif
Mine can do 1070 CL4@2.3xvdimm but then mine is D9GKX Xtreem 1066mhz while yours is TKH ex Xtreem 800mhz laugh.gif
Beware of that kind of vdimm on gigabyte board as the drive strength is very agressive

bios 2.5vdimm , but everest list out 2.55v. doh.gif
when the time I tweaking my ram , then I'm thinking about 1066 xtreem , its so sweet. too bad bo lui. sweat.gif

next time try to whack 8500 cl4 business. more heat room. doh.gif

Comeback to my e8400(C0) and some tweak, now i would able to stable @ 3.8ghz with 1.25vcore(in bios), 1.25v(vdrop on load) 1.28 idle in windows... Last time this proc need 1.3vcore and above for the speed without gtl reference tweaking.

ran a test early this morning on my E8500 E0 at 4Ghz...still running...so far, so good...gonna use this for 24/7 setting...vcore at bios is 1.30v..temp is a bit high but i think still in the green zone.
is it ok for a E8500 E0 with that speed at that vcore?

Hi there,

Tweaked my q9450 for awhile. It seems this is the furthest I can go, any higher result in no post system. Memory is kinda loose, will try to tweaked it even more when I am free brows.gif

Could not get to 470 fsb as it will result in no post system. hmm.gif hmm.gif

ps: I am using stock hsf that is why the temperature is rather high. Bios show temp of 35idle and full load 60+. But real temp show idle 50 full load 70+.

5G result??? drool.gif drool.gif

I'm still testing my E8500 at 4G, lowering the vcore...currently running Prime95 at 1.275vbios/1.264vdrop...no vdroop on my mobo...quite surprise.
already passed 7hrs when i was leaving to work this morning at around 7am...hopefully no prob.
later on will only see how hi can it go...5G is a no-no on air i guess...
