QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Oct 4 2008, 01:15 AM) Not bad CL4 on a low bin D9GMH Mine can do 1070 CL4@2.3xvdimm but then mine is D9GKX Xtreem 1066mhz while yours is TKH ex Xtreem 800mhz Beware of that kind of vdimm on gigabyte board as the drive strength is very agressive bios 2.5vdimm , but everest list out 2.55v. when the time I tweaking my ram , then I'm thinking about 1066 xtreem , its so sweet. too bad bo lui. next time try to whack 8500 cl4 business. more heat room.

4ghz attempt... with lower vcore compare to last time, think need 1.4vcore last time with vdroop control: ON on my P35 UT
note tht vcore i set in bios is 1.325v. Windows report idling @ 1.35,1.36(flunctuate from time to time) load @ 1.33v when running IBT 1.6

Getting Started

|
Hi there, Tweaked my q9450 for awhile. It seems this is the furthest I can go, any higher result in no post system. Memory is kinda loose, will try to tweaked it even more when I am free Could not get to 470 fsb as it will result in no post system. ps: I am using stock hsf that is why the temperature is rather high. Bios show temp of 35idle and full load 60+. But real temp show idle 50 full load 70+. Attached thumbnail(s)
