yeah i solved it by bumping the memory voltage to 2.0V. The older rams works at stock 1.8V no prob while these new ones dont. Btw, after increasing the memory voltage i can boot to windows but orthos still fails after 30mins... haih... duno what to tweak else. I've left memory timings all at default, should i be playing with those ? i think now its 5-7-7-23 looking at cpuz

whats the recommended temp for q9450 ? I had mine idle at 50c and full load on 65c at 3.2ghz. Vcore 1.20. Using real temp for monitoring it. I think it can go lower cos my casing still havent fully arrange the cabling n the airflow kinda sux.

try keep it below 65 lo....that is wat most ppl do....

My Q9300 highest temp is 72.

If I OC any higher , e.g. vcore 1.2 above, my temp would generally pump up to as high as 80C. Max record I got was 84C and that was around vcore 1.3 (@3.6ghz). Not dare to prime it for hours cos the temp really scary. Will wait till I get my hands on a better cooling device.

One question here for those who used MSI p45 platinum. Did you guys mount TRUE (thermalright ultra extreme) on it successfullt ? can it fit onto the mobo ? thanks

if possible try not to go over 60-65C for daily usage... you shud get a good air cooler .. its cheap nowadays..

4gb is not so OCable....

most of the time on CL4 only can reach 9xx mhz

sorry I forgot to mention that it was 2x2GB and at 800mhz

after darn linksys modem , model : AG421 failed me , because auto PPPoE connection problem

and play around with my ram .. sorry here is my sucky result during my boring time...

on air. 1.575vcore on bios. P35-DS3 rev1.0 , 2.5vdimm

Not bad CL4 on a low bin D9GMH
Mine can do 1070 CL4@2.3xvdimm but then mine is D9GKX Xtreem 1066mhz while yours is TKH ex Xtreem 800mhz
Beware of that kind of vdimm on gigabyte board as the drive strength is very agressive
