Hey... My u45jc also got that squeaky sound from hdd lei although its still pretty new... How to solve? Can rma back to asus?

Computer -> Right click the drive -> Properties -> Tools -> Check Now... (under Error Checking) -> tick both boxes -> Start
if it's C: that u want to check, it will need to restart then it can perform the check... |

well, that's becuz most ppl assumes i7 = quad, while missing out the fact that there exist a Core i7-600M family which is a dual core CPU...
600M is no different from a 500M, 400M, etc in terms of hardware... which means, it also has the CPU and GMA all integrated into the same die... |

Only advantage of the i7-600M series is the higher TB for it compared to the i5-400 and 500 series plus higher RAM speed support.

nah... 600M is still DDR3 1066MHz... it's still an Arrandale...
main thing is even higher clock and more cache... other than that it's the same as 500M... |

just got my A42JV at 4gb at RM2599 with free backpack and CC payment. so any advice other than product registration and update driver. for a newbie in lappie like me. any decent middle range cooler to recommend ? |
