lc full tank rm6 now ride slow.. around 60-70 gps speed.. lc meter around 70-80 will get around 130km-140km (including highway + street usage)
haha.. so riding superbike is awesome.. but cant ride far... hahhaha.. have to masuk petrol station a lot of time.. if ride slow how..? i think around 300km can achieve..?
wan fast.. cannot.. haha... car fast.. very dangerous.. haha

I think 2-strokes are more balanced for performance, FC and maintenance cost... but it had to go because of 2T smoke...

Also can argue:
2stroke:
-2T goes into piston, block and crankshaft and burn together with petrol, and then exhaust out. Always fresh 2T to protect the vital parts. High grade 2T like those JASO FC or FD product almost no smoke or ash. 1 liter 2T for 20-30 liter petrol, about 800-1000km.
-Separate 4T only for gearbox, always clean and no carbon.

4T is recirculated for piston, block, crankshaft, valve, cam and gearbox, and all this using 1 liter of 4T for 3000km... of course you should spend RM40++ for RP lah...

Motorbike fuel economy:
- TZM full tank 10 liter go 380-400km. Go slow & steady ~110kmh. tongue.gif
- RGV full tank 5 liter go 180km++.
- LC full tank 6 liter go 2++km??
- Superbikes fills once every 200km.

I remember one time come back from KL, a group of superbikes overtook me 4 times, because they stop so often at petrol station, end up we reach Penang at about the same time...

If you don't believe, try the maths, I ride 110kmh constant for 4 hours, reach PG.
Superbike 140-160kmh, 2.6hrs should reach PG. But 2-4 stops at petrol station pump petrol, chit chat minum makan 1-2 hour, total 3.6 hours. biggrin.gif

a bit wrong there..ur calculation counts for small tank big bikes and problematic engines ones..

1998 suzy GSX 750 SRAD can do 260km before need refueling on 19L tank..
2001 Monster 750 can do 270km before need to stop with a 16L tank
2009 Kawa Er-6n can go for 260Km with 15L tank
2010 ZX-10r can go for 250km with full tank
2010 Ducati Multistrada can stretch up to 320Km with 20 L tank..
the new S1000RR also almost the same as zx-10R(just +10/5km more),same case with 1098s
SuperDuke R can do almost to 300Km(i just love this bike..the best naked i have tested ever..but still love the Monster 11)

and this fuel consumption for riding speed range from 140-180kmh..

maybe what u saw just some dudes who rarely goes long distance..so get tired after riding for 2 hour and take too long to recover..

You're right. I wasn't being specific on the full potential of the SBKs. My case is like the hare and turtle race, TZM the turtle, SBKs the hare. I'm not saying they 'have to' refill every 200km. smile.gif

All I know, SBK goes at ~40-60 mpg... given a 20l tank, that's ~200-300km tank range.

Guess that's ok. RM8 is less than 4liter only...

Saw this: Belang - 5 liter goes 135km.

last time on my home from KL, rode around 150-160km/h (LC's speedo) and around 120-130km/h (on GPS, max 137km/h), for 80km it consumed about 3/4 tank. that's the distance from R&R Gambang to Kemaman, with fairly windy road + not cucuk angin one smile.gif
