@STP (short for sangtupperware, hope you don't mind), need to check which one giving problem... this one I honestly no experience.

From what I can tell, this racing CDI need hi-current to drive it. When current high, it will pull the voltage down. When voltage drop too low, it'll 'cut'.

When does the LED light up? When idling? Medium revving? Hi-revving?
When the LED light up, try kacau the CDI wiring connection and see if that makes any difference?

When cold in the morning, turn on key but don't start engine, press the horn. Does it sound normal? Can use electrical starter? This will tell if your battery ok or not.

My guess would be that you need a capacitor at the CDI input.

The one that Alexi post mia is a fake BRT CDi biggrin.gif Go check the link I posted again... There should be a chop, and the carbon look on the cdi should be small and printed neatly and beautifully... So when u r buying BRT make sure u check...
*
that pic is taken from the BRT website, downloaded pdf file showing the history of BRT CDI generations. I didn't check against that fake BRT photo last time.

about the shifting..
last time my fren wan rgv right.. after he mod.. the bm power ppl adjust his clutch la..
and this is wat happen..
the clutch let go time.. very smooth.. straight accel.. but 1 problem.. shift to N take years.. LOL.. don wan masuk N.. LOL..
so end up have to sacrifice and change clutch lever to let go more to move.. and shifting to N just a tap on back lightly only..
hahah.. biggrin.gif

btw.. about shifting.. my bike recently also going to start becoming like bizzy's bike already..
still got the 'jump'(in hokkien) feeling like bizzy said.. but ar.. enter gear time.. stuck2 a bit.. i have to throttle a bit to enter fast..
wat is the problem ar..? clutch plate..?
both of you use SS, right?
There should be a screw somewhere to adjust the autoclutch spring one.
- If too tight, bike will jump when shift in, and hard down shift and go neutral when bike is standstill.
- If too loose, clutch will slip.

Read about it here: http://www.dansmc.com/autoclutch.htm

@Bizzy, Aaron: I suggest if you all can go measure the carb outer diameter, and then find a rubber hose about ~10-15cm that can fit that hose. If filter connect direct to carb, very easy will get petrol as it spray out from the carb when intake valve open... later the filter will get dirty very fast...

Ohhh gosh WHAT A "WONDERFUL"" DAY!!! Another Moron talks crap with me, U noe what he said??? If u change the jetting no difference de la, the way he talks was like he is the pro and treating me like a dumb kid... If jetting got no different y there are so many size of jetting on the market and y carb company make so many type of jetting??? Then I ask him about the mushroom airfilter then he shook his head and said to me : No use one la, pls la don listen to others that say K&N are good filter, ppl say good u guys also trust... Then he said: We mod car also same la, air-filter simply rubbish no use one la, just take off everything la... Kanneh ***** He talk kana he is the King Of Tuning/Mod... If air-filter no use y all manufacturer r using it and y K&N can make so much money??? See his MEAT face pun TL

I worry later after all the things you do, the improvement not much... then you !@#$%%^ this forum liao. biggrin.gif
But I guarantee, if compare to stock setting, adding hi-flow filter+jetting according to your plan will add some improvement. Main reason I think the stock paper filter is too restrictive. At least, change to sponge or foam one.

Which motorshop is that?
