@STP (short for sangtupperware, hope you don't mind), need to check which one giving problem... this one I honestly no experience.
From what I can tell, this racing CDI need hi-current to drive it. When current high, it will pull the voltage down. When voltage drop too low, it'll 'cut'. When does the LED light up? When idling? Medium revving? Hi-revving? When the LED light up, try kacau the CDI wiring connection and see if that makes any difference? When cold in the morning, turn on key but don't start engine, press the horn. Does it sound normal? Can use electrical starter? This will tell if your battery ok or not. My guess would be that you need a capacitor at the CDI input. |

@Bizzy, Aaron: I suggest if you all can go measure the carb outer diameter, and then find a rubber hose about ~10-15cm that can fit that hose. If filter connect direct to carb, very easy will get petrol as it spray out from the carb when intake valve open... later the filter will get dirty very fast...
