in that case JW mostlikely for me 1 more thing do we need custom paste for JW or Asus rectify the louzy paste...
Usually, it is better to do the repaste yourself but it is kinda tricky. Asus G-Series Notebooks V2, Asus G73, G53 and etc . . .

hm, I hope my delivery calculations are correct, using comgateway pricing, i got under 100USD (70USD actually since the weight i got for the G53 is 8kg)
if it goes over 100 USD.... there goes my budget... maybe can't get rokkat kave =\ i also remember ken posting some temperature benchmarks and with the stock paste the G53 was quite cool... |

QUOTE(thxxht @ Oct 25 2010, 04:51 PM) GentechPC or XoticPC, both have very good representatives, i prefer xoticpc though, they seemed.. more professional. but alas, the deliver was slightly more expensive so I opted for Gentech. Yea. Both of them are really GOOD in CS. yes it is indeed cheaper to get from US rather than SGD, even at conversion rate of 3.14, you'll most likely get that number nowadays when doing TT. Delivery will cost you around 100+ USD. when i calculated my total cost, it came down to RM5.7k, which is cheaper than SGD 2500 = approx. RM6k. |

So i probably have to wait awhile. |

If I'm not mistaken, Ken said that almost every Asus notebooks have diff. HDD brackets. So i probably have to wait awhile. |

Someone in NBR posted this:QUOTE For Momentus it's a power saving feature. Don't worry about it. If you don't like the clicking you can find free software to edit the power saving settings to prevent it from doing that. All it's doing is moving the needle to save power etc. It's NOT breaking. http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gamin...tml#post6826129 Hopefully thats true. It cant be both of them are making the noise because they are faulty. It's very very soft, only can be heard if you are very very close to the monitor. QUOTE(corad @ Oct 25 2010, 11:53 AM) hi dude, i've replied you on the sager thread but now I feel obliged to point out your promoting is useless. clubehub is not cheaper than gentech/xoticpc, even with a backlight keyboard or shipping. They are using UPS as shippment so their price is still fair after all,I do a caculation on that.i'm afraid this sort of false advertisement will only hurt the/your company. Hear that USPS service is slow and cant claim if the goods is lost on the way. Depend on luck for the cheap shippment anyway . One price for one service............ |

USPS service is insured. Anyways there's always comgateway as a shipping company, and comgateway uses DHL.
Hm... just saw the BTOtech review... they said that repasting the CPU and GPU did not affect the maximum stable temperature... This post has been edited by DoubleU: Oct 26 2010, 03:36 AM |
