clivengu: your work is really my inspiration when it comes to architectural shots... since im not so keen on human portraits. but ur 1st london pic got obvious CA. i love number 2 and 4. and i also like number 10. and for number 16 and 17.. if only u could get the view closer, just the chair and overlooking the field... but of course u couldnt get too close... but really.. love ur work.

hiansitt: normal la.. people only know C and N... i also came to Sony coz my friend (who now uses a d300 and is a huge fanboy - nothing wrong with that tho) used the a200 before... then i got the a100 and you lot here in the Alpha Forum seemed genuinely nice, and made me realize that at the end of the day, its the photographer that matters.




btw, the 35mm and 85mm samples look good!

sigh. although my camera exterior looks like almost brand new now..

RazorVista: You mean the Minolta 100-200mm F4.5 or the Minolta 70-210mm F3.5-4.5? The 100-200mm is weak in the minimum focus distance of 1.8 meters while the Minolta 70-210mm F4 allows you to focus to 1.1 meters near.

You could try adjusting focus again (which is why people are warned about the difficulty of tuning it.)

I like #3, very Inception-like. Love the processing in general! Crop off the 1/3rd right part in #15 to make it much better. Love #16 and #20!

well, depends on you actually. i only have a NEX-3 with 16mm pancake. i didn't take the 18-55mm kit lens because i'm thinking of going straight for 18-200mm tele zoom later. this is because i don't have any other camera except for my NEX. if u have a DSLR as your main camera, maybe u'll be better with 18-55mm as backup for casual shooting, or maybe just get the 16mm pancake, and get the a-e adapter
