well, that IF u keep reviewing, zooming to check the photo, yea, it consume more power then u actually uses the shutter. or keep waiting to scene to shoot, having the LCD run whole time without snapping... i would ratio it up to 5 hours continuous ON with little this and that

Mikeshashimi: Send it to the shop where you bought it, who will send it to Futuromic. I have no idea how much this will cost.

kuro0314: Buy another battery, and get into the 'rhythm' of the battery - I went for the A33/A55 product launch with heavy usage from 1pm and ended up with 34% at 8pm. Soon you'll be able to budget your battery power wisely.

haha trying hard to be using wise with it ~

Added on September 6, 2010, 3:31 pmby the way did any NEX user here updated to ver 0.2? they said it improve the battery consumtion when it is not on~

For that price... I will give you the lens hood. Made of metal, with felt inside for reduced flare issues. Very nice item. brows.gif

zstan, Actually the lowest ISO the A850 can go down to is ISO100..... why I used ISO200 then? Read on.....

lwliam, the reason why I used ISO200 and not ISO100 is because ISO100 is the expanded range (means is it not a native ISO) of the A850. It is essentially a digitally interpolated value. The base ISO for the A850 is ISO200, where it gives the best dynamic range and most natural color. You try to shoot at ISO200 and ISO6400, and you will notice a shift in color tone.
add-on: iso100 was actually shoot with native iso200, then stop down 1 stop using the raw processing.
ieR, thanks for your comments. i noticed that problem the first time i opened this photo up for PP work.  doh.gif  was cursing myself about it. unfortunately, the pattern on her thigh was just so random and uneven that it looks like as if she was wearing stockings or something like that. so that is the reason why i left it as it is. It would be a nightmare (for me) to PP that out, and her thighs will look unnaturally smooth. It will also be difficult (correction: impossible) to get back that skin tone if I PP her thighs. it was a lighting & posing mistake, honestly.  shakehead.gif

oh... send me the photo, let me take a look? hehehe.... well, playing with light is very very nice yet dangerous, it will create very nice new dimension of photo, also, it will show a lot new ugly side of things. but u can always try edit it out, take it as a challengee

3rd party doesn't have the chip for it to run AF I think but the good thinks like the E-A Adapter with aperture blade allows to control aperture manually using MF for shooting movie (:

By the way is A55V going to launching on Malaysia?
