do i have to Install it and then remove the HTC Sync ??
cus yesterday i tried, after i install the HTC Sync, i get 2 app > HTC Sync , HTC Driver something

So first thing first... if my pc doesn't have HTC Sync installed.. do i have to
1. Install HTC Sync, Remove HTC Sync and then remain HTC Driver thing

2. Don't need install HTC Sync, straight root the phone with unrevoked

oo.. where can we see the Amon Ra recovery ?? never saw that before... is it when rooting process it got selection of "Amon Ra Recovery" ??

another question is :
I saw someone said that i need to remove HTC Sync and then remain the HTC Driver thing... after i finish root + flash.. do i have to reinstall HTC Sync ??
or the HTC Sync is useless thing?? if i didn't use it to sync any data between pc and phone ??

Can unrevoked used in win 7 32 bit ?
since KTCY said he failed to do it in win 7 64..
but i saw someone in the forum said they success in rooting in win7 64bit
i think u can forget about rooting if you dun take that method to downgrade to 0.80
or u just wait some expert that come out with the unrevoked which works on 0.92

As long as you have the Driver, then you can proceed with that regardless of keeping the HTC Sync or not.

When you see the recovery screen, use the trackball to scroll to ‘Nandroid‘ and press the trackball to select. Then select ’Backup‘ (You can also use ‘Restore’ to restore)

Once did the Nandroid... I don't need to copy the content of the image to my pc ?? it will stores magically the image ?? cus when we do the
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
i tot it will delete all stuff... so the Nandroid image won't get deleted ??
cus i dun see he said need to plug in to pc and save the image of the nandroid..

I just follow it.  Wipe data/factory reset only done on your phone memory, the SD card will not be wiped.  Only when you make partition, the SD card will be wiped out.

ohh~~ ic ic.. so it will be like this ??

before root > save all the content of the memory card to phone
root
titanium backup + nandroid
flash rom + radio
> save all contente of the memory to phone again > to another folder [to be saved]
do partition
done ! 

Hi guys, regarding partitioning SD card to use Apps2SD+ features, can I set 1GB in the ext3 instead of 512MB?

Make swap=0, ext3= 1024, fat32 = balance

Is the above setting to be when using ROM Manager to partition?

what do u mean by before doing partition phone memory 67mb and after 132mb ??

means after you flash the ROM, ur memory is 67 ??
then after do partition ur memory suddenly go to 132mb??

titanium restore (DO NOT do full restore.  Restore your apps and data one by one manually) should be done after your last step "DONE!"... 

yes, correct, after flashing rom but before partition, free space of phone only 67mb.  after you do partition, the free space increase to 132. 

waa.. amazingly suddenly the free space of phone increased...
wondering how it can magically pull those data used in the phone memory into the partition
around 65mb is free from the phone memory
anyway ~ haha.. dun wana scratch my head thinking on how it magically free's up the memory after the partition..
