how old is your waja? 4g18 or campro / campro cps?
if just open pod for 4g18/campro wont do..
but if cps then its another matter.. heheh..

last week my frens neo cps dynoed at rs dyno..
he just replace his air intake with open pod while most of the rest is stock including extractors..
cps on paper states its a  125ps engine right.. dyno result of cps with an open pod shows the figure of 154hp!  flex.gif

ps - i'm going to speedworks this saturday.. warranty claim on my full system hotbits on my neo..  icon_question.gif

yup.. fishy enough.. even the lotus R3 neo cps need to put some good things inside oso manage to just get 145 bhp.. just open-pod alone can get 154 hp?.. hehehe.. i like to get 1 of those laugh.gif laugh.gif

i doubt an open pod change alone will add that much horsepower. the most you may get is around 13xhp.
but an open pod + tuned length exhaust + pnp should be quite decent for a neo cps.
btw, the snlre was uprated with titanium header for the lighter feel and better weight distribution purpose. it was still on k&n drop in air filter.

If you just changing the open pod solely it will not gives much difference, or it can be even worse than standard..

I think our engine bay can't fit the engine..look at the exhaust header and it seems like protruding much to the front.. sad.gif

Anyway that KilleROM can be adjust to compensate the power lost below 3k RPM?

And further as you said only at the mid-range, does u mean it's just good at 5k RPM only?
*
sori for late reply.... it can compensate but not more because the powerband is narrowed down.... it is like adding a nozzle to a water host in order to spray the water further than usual.

Hey guys, any ways to improve car handling? Especially going at about 130km/h, wanna make the car more "stable".

Vtec runs better due to their setup of old engine is different! Try on new Vtec see the result lols.....
The old Vtec cams and lifter works in a different way where when the Vtec open there will be volume air surge thats why open pod will improve.
You can also see some car with stock spare air ballast near to the air filter (eg wira vdo) because this is to reduce the air surge effect on the performance.

if you could stand the harder stiffer suspension feel, changing to lowered sports suspension setup will help in high speed straight and a lot lesser
'floating' feel.
else, front strut bar, rear strut bar and change to bigger arb for cornering sensation brows.gif
am using apm performax abs and spring. stiffer ride but very less floating feel while driving over 200km/h.
btw, all i want for x'mas is getting rid of the irritating rattling sound from the rear. when to accessories shop and the guy told me it was a foreman job coz seems like suspension bushes giving sound but bushes already upgraded to pu all round. went to regular workshop to check and the foreman could not locate the source.
it becomes even more irritating after recent rear windscreen change.

i wonder why mech dont apply automotive grease on it? is it they sked the screw will be undone coz got grease there?

timing belt wont just simply putus one la~ it need to be either keras or koyak already then oni will be more prone to putus.. normal usage wont putus out of sudden~ this is why u need to check it often and make sure change on time... other then tht its quite durable as its rated for at least 80k

tht is like 16 times u go regular service.. if 16 times u service n u nvr once take a peak at ur timing belt, if it putus its ur fault.. not the belt fault
