wanna ask abt tyre, is yoko a-drive R1 still available now? or there 's new model edi?

currently i'm using yokohama a-drive R1 for both front tyres and yoko S306 for rear tyres, looking to change my rear tyre, hope to get recommendation on wht tyre to choose, i want it to be good grip while taking corner, wet condition (ride: waja)

current yoko a-drive is good enuff for me, but still need recommendation , perhaps can get better tyres for my ride within my budget biggrin.gif

using 205/50R16 if possible with price brows.gif
*
highly recommended by my frens in the neo group:
Bridgestone Adrenalin Potenza RE001 : 205/50/16 RM350 per piece
Site: http://www.bridgestone-potenza.com/adrenalin/

highly recommended by the michelin tyre shop in puchong jaya that i frequent since 2005:
BF Goodrich g-Force Sport : 205/50/16 RM350 per peice
Official tyre write up at website says it has great grip:
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.info/index.php?...passenger&id=29

I'm leaning towards bridgestone for now.. plan to change in december..
my current bridgestone my01 still have 90% thread, all 4.. 205/45/16.. prev owner bought it for rm250 a piece..

Oh, thanks ya! by the way, do you have any idea how much is the cps headlamps? Do you know how to change the rear badge?
*
to change the rear badge, you need to take out the bar that holds the badge 1st..
the bar is hold by 3 bolts inside the boot, behind the plate number area.. u can see the bolt, got 1 for each left, right n center..
just unscrew the 3 bolts and the bar will come off.. now the badge is hold by a single screw to that bar.. unscrew it n the badge is out.

had a bad experience with powerzone. so, you can either use the full exhaust hotbits setup(from 4-2-1 extractor to twintip) which is available at ea autoworks or speedworks. cost 1xxx bucks.
or try topcat from everco, sunway. both are a good choice with hotbits being more expensive / slightly responsive at higher rpm.
*
i hear good vibes from topcat too.. will research about topcat more..
i try not to use hotbits because i already have a hotbits full system on my neo..
wanna try something different on my waja..
thanks for the info.. thumbup.gif

how do you know the charging part is not ok?
u monitor using voltmeter during driving?
any figures?
i read that if your volt readings drop to 13.3v or lower means your alternator is having problem charging the battery..

a simple digital voltmeter is being sold in the tradezone for rm55.. i think its a bargain and a must install for car owners who dont like getting the suprise of a dead battery on a morning startup..

my battery on the neo went dead 2 months ago.. i bought the car 2nd hand so i didnt know how long the battery was used but it looks clean n pristine so i was supprised it went dead on me, so i'm installing a volt meter soon to see if the volt readings during driving could help me detect if my alternator is not performing.. maybe any sifus here could share how to monitor our car's battery/alternator health?

piston berlubang common on 2 stroke bikes when your setting is too lean and the api too strong causing a strong explosion which your piston cannot tahan.. guess the same condition applies to cars too..

guys.. tmrw i'll be changing all 4 absorbers on my waja.. biggrin.gif

initially i want to go with apm performax since got good review from you guys but after checking the price online.. its nearly 1k for all 4 not including installation.. its abit pricey and out of my budget.. unless you guys can recommend me a good place to get it all 4 with installation costing less then 900.. tongue.gif

so my next choice would be between GAB and IMP comfort.. i plan to go to EA Works @ Drexchan at bukit jalil.. the GAB SA set goes for RM800++ including installation while the IMP Comfort set goes for RM700++ with installation.. Should i go with GAB? or IMP? i have no past experience using any of this 2 brands.. previously i used kayaba and monroe (monroe is expensive like hell now)..

thanks for any feedbacks.. notworthy.gif

ps - priority is comfort since this is a family ride but i do want the ride to feel firm n planted on straights or corners..
