Don't expect too much from GLC.
Most Kedai Tenaga's credit card terminals are faulty. KTMB too! I never have used cc but cash to purchase ticket at KTMB counter. The staff just don't care.

Haha........
The important is get the money....
TNB don't care who paid it.

Use any Visa/MasterCard from any bank to pay all your bills here.

https://payonline.uob.com.my/payonline/Login.do
Is there a fee for using PayOnline?

No, there is NO CHARGE for using PayOnline - the service is brought to you free of charge. You can make payments via your credit card for any number of bills, up to any number of transactions at anytime of the day.
*
What are you trying to tell ?
travelyew was asking about OCBC, not UOB.

Wow, it really is ANY. Sorry I missed that word.

Is there any existing user of PAYONLINE here?
Look forward to hearing your experience.

I am using payonline. You might need to visit the website to see a list of available merchants..

it does not accept tnb..
it does accept payment to local government as well such as dbkl

Yes, it is correct, any master/visa card can be used to pay.. no AMEX..
*
what? mad.gif
What a joke.

No TNB??
But i found the TNB at that website, under category "others"
*
Yes I saw TNB too.
I'm afraid paying TNB through PayOnline is regarded as OTHER transaction by OCBC. No more 5% rebate doh.gif

has anyone use the OCBC PayMaster bill payment service? instead of going to individual merchant to sign up for autopay, PayMaster seems to provide sign up of autopay for mainly telco and assessment fees.

anyone tried paymaster before?
*
Oh yes, signing up autopay with bank is more convenient than with service provider. In case you wish to cancel autopay, just ring the card centre, instead of having to look at some unfriendly faces in GLCs.

What are you trying to say ? Isn't the priority of his question about online bill payment? So what's wrong with my answer?  doh.gif
*
I've apologized earlier on.
It was my fault, I didn't read carefully.

What are you peeps talking about not being able to pay tnb bills on payonline? Go to the website, click on service providers and then click Others, you can see TNB in there.
*
Haven't you read newer replies?

sorry for wrong info.. i last checked for service provider was about 6 months ago..

ya it accept for tnb payment.. thanks for letting me know also.. smile.gif

just try for a month, see whether got 5% rebate or not.. so far as i know, the description that appeared at ur credit card statement will be like "Payonline Bill Payment - Telekom"

I suppose for tnb it will be "payonline bill payment - tnb"

but someone need to try it out la..
*
I don't think so.
If the money first goes to PayOnline then only to service provider, OCBC will not deem the trxn as UTILITIES but OTHERS.

Finally found some use for my DA VI. Today was at 1U gsc, CIMB/DA VISA cardholders gets 1 for 1 free ticket. Too bad it does not apply for 3D movies, so I had to pay full for 2 tickets to watch Resident Evil in 3D. Next time I go watch non 3D movie there can get 2 free tickets as my wife has VI too.

I'd say it's pretty accurate ... for my case at least  biggrin.gif

Anyway, spoke to a customer service executive (OCBC calls it so) this evening. My call was answered in just a few seconds. Told my problem to the polite Malay guy who entertained me. He promised to call me back as soon as he got the feedback from the relevant department which he did. He called me back just before 6pm and told me that they did receive photocopies of my IC and credit card last week but they claimed that the credit card is still not clear. He politely asked me to resend them another copy of my credit card, preferably through email this time around. Hopefully thing goes smoothly this time  sweat.gif
*
I fax them on 13th. They should at least tell me they're processing, not "Sorry, we don't find your application in our record". ohmy.gif

Received call from OCBC Credit Processing Department. Said my NRIC and cc fax copies were too dark =.=
I requested to re-apply through email, and she really did give me an email! All the Customer Service officers said cannot apply via email, but this girl says can. What's going on?

You guys also can try to apply through "cap@ocbc.com". You may attach the form and supporting documents in Word/PDF/JPG format.

May be you can't send the application form through email but you definitely can email your supporting documents such as salary slip, existing credit card and IC to them.

By the way, cap@ocbc.com is a legit OCBC email address.
Oh yes, she told me to email the form altogether, I have got her confirmation as well.

if the government is going to limit only 2 cc per person, which 2 card will you hold?

I will hold DirectAccess Mastercard and OCBC Titanium (if approved).
If OCBC card failed, I will just hold the former.

I applied for OCBC Titanium a week ago, still no call or SMS from them  cry.gif  Might have to call them in a day or two.

If OCBC failed, I'll probably apply for DirectAccess Mastercard. IMHO, it's the second best gold-level card in the market right now.
*
You really need to call them. Maybe your supporting documents are not clear and therefore left aside. sweat.gif

see stanchart world card requirement is so low le,,, then cimb one also no need rm200k/annum also can apply le..

actually direct access and cimb card got same standard? a lot of my friends dunno what is direct access.. haha

Basically DA and CIMB cards share the same basic privileges.
However, sometimes there are promo only for DA cardmembers. One example is the 2% fuel rebate.
