IT's a HIT OR MISS thing dude...
I've got my car for a year plus already, still no vibration noise... So, how SOON is your "SOON" referring too?

Come on guys, some of you are really sceptical, sarcastic and negative... I feel sorry for those of you who are owning a BLM and having to say bad things about it everyday to everyone... COME ON... WAKE UP DUDE....
If you dislike it, get rid of it,
If you dislike it but you can't get rid of it, do something about it
If you dislike it but you can't get rid of it, and you can't do anything about it, SHUT THE EFFING MOUTH UP...

If I were you, I'll go do something about it... stuck some sponge inside, or glue or wax or whatever I can get hold off and Instead of shutting my own mouth, i shut that noisy rattling vibration SOB up...
And you'll not hear that again for as long as the solution can last. How good is that?

Go and THINK about it

Cheers and peace on you...

chill out bro, we're just stating the facts so that others don't get too happy just yet, actually despite the issues I still love this car, somehow more than when I owned a myvi for 4 years smile.gif

Exactly! Now's some body's talking! It is a very cheap and comfortable ride for it's price...
Like I said, if you can't own those foreign cars, just cherish what you have now... enough said!

P/S: I'm a Honda fan too tongue.gif

hi guys. i drive a saga blm m-line late 2008 and the mileage is around 32000km.

my clutch started acting up 2 days ago. when i depress the clutch, i felt a quite strong vibration on the pedal. gear change however is more or less the same and there is no noticeable loss of power.

went to the proton edar SC and after a brief inspection (the SC personnel drove the car a bit). the SC guy told me that the clutch is showing early signs of failure. in order to avert further problems down the road i was advised to change the whole clutch (housing, bearing, plate). the total cost quoted is close to RM900.

i wonder if i can claim warranty on the clutch? i know that under the warranty agreement, the clutch is a wear and tear part and is not covered but come on, clutch failure this early? the clutch has gotta be defective in the first place for it to wear out at such early mileage! vmad.gif i do regular maintenance (periodic services at the recommended intervals all done at the same SC). i'm no speed demon (apart from the occasional 120-130km/h balik kampung drives), i don't do high revs unnecessarily and i always depress the clutch fully before changing gears, no abrupt release (fast, race-style gear change is a no-no).

so what say you sifus?

5 years for engine? its 3 years for engine and wiring as well. reverse cam got ntg to do with wirings as they feed on bluetooth.

teikwing
rm5k at least?

bestgile81
by right, its more than 1 years old ride from ur side, and u canot just say u did not do anything, and it went wrong. SC will never accept anything, unless ur ride goes crazy in 1 month time once u get ur ride from the SA, then that's a good reason coz its fresh from oven and its faulty. u can always try to ask around various SC and see if they can help u out by claiming the FOC warranty or not.if they dun, at least pay them for labour and get free parts from Proton. regarding nissan clutch, as u mentioned: clutch is tear and wear, so what shud they void u since u dun even get to claim it with oem clutch, right?

My car starting to have the noisy "lorry" sound. I guess my IAFM starting to faulty. How long will it take to replace the IAFM? I heard its a very long process of replacing it because its connected to engine bay and some valves. Was it normal for it to be faulty around 1 year plus of usage? Faulty IAFM is like the most common problem happened in a Saga. sad.gif

If i'm not mistaken, 1 year for mechanical parts such as window motor, starter, etc, 3 years for electrical and wiring, and 5 years only for engine and gearbox
