Be careful he might broken the handle soon.Actually all those 'hard to open' issue is due to wrong way to open the door. They tends to pull the handle from center. |

QUOTE(sa10 @ Dec 6 2010, 01:15 PM) as coolkwc mentioned, it is due to wrong way to pull the handle Thanks for pic.try to enforce at red box zone but not blue box zone as pic below another reason is due to it is still new, u might need to open/close 4 doors everyday at least two times or what to loose them up [attachmentid=1922949] Enforce at red area by 4 finger, with your thumb press at the fixed handle at the left, i have no problem to open my door by this way. SA told me during i take my new car. And chrome handle won't fix ur problem. |

QUOTE(kidmad @ Dec 7 2010, 05:50 PM) Guys seems like everyone is still taking their BLM back to the Proton SC for repair. No one have encountered non Proton Mechanic Workshop which can do the service? need someone reliable and honest . Of cos there are alot of non proton workshop who can do the service, i don think you need to worry too much. They back to Proton SC service just to retain warranty, not becos their good workmanship. |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Dec 8 2010, 02:46 PM) no difference?..that's weird Not weird, for pickup is slightly better but FC is no different for me, even with full sync 5-40w now.mine definitely got different faster pickup...better FC....a lighter engine Added on December 8, 2010, 2:48 pm tensioner? not sure...the bill there call seal cam cover...i'm not sure what is it's actual name the guy also dn't know what it is Even oil manufacturer stated u only can get better FC by using <40w, which is X-30w oil. Anyway, different between full sync and semi sync is quite noticeable. Full sync long lasting, now my car adi 6.5k, the power still same as new oil change, if semi sync, >3k u can feel the engine sound is rough and less power. Added on December 8, 2010, 2:54 pm QUOTE(kidmad @ Dec 8 2010, 02:50 PM) Yeah man~ langsung tak ada feel. wasted extra 30 bucks. Btw im using Shell 10-40w how bout you? maybe i should try your oil and see. Btw yours is auto right? I will never use Shell 10-40w semi anymore. Worst than Petronas 15-50W semi.hurm its ok then. i will just print out the list and bring it to the guy ask him to help me change accordingly. but i just got an open port i dont think need to change the air filter liao. kekekeke This post has been edited by coolkwc: Dec 8 2010, 02:54 PM |

QUOTE(kidmad @ Dec 8 2010, 03:30 PM) You bring to SC be ready to fork out around rm400 la. haha somehow they will change everything stated but the one in glenmarie Proton Edar good la. they change accordingly that's why mine was rm39x instead of rm4xx Because feeling is subjective.Haha service in proton centre is like that lor. even the 15-50w oil is rm30 more expensive than outside Wei bro are you sure you driving SAGA BLM ah? why i can't get your performance one |

QUOTE(Ped88 @ Dec 8 2010, 07:19 PM) Yup.. he even call the office infront of me to ask the people in his office to block the car I wanted. Don't compromise. MT and AT is like boy and girl, once u got AT there is no way u can regret. It only takes 1 week for my loan to approve and then he call me back and say no more stock and ask me if I want to buy the M-line A/T or SE so I say, I'll get back to him on that. Still thinking of what to do now. Get back the deposit, is his fault, there are so many SA around, find another. |

if only 1 time from stop to steady speed, u rev until 4k also no problem. But if city drive which not much acceleration with steady slow pace, shift early, even after shift <2k also no problem.
@ slow pace traffic, i adi engage 3rd gear even only @ 30km/h, rpm around 1.6k, as long as u didn't pickup rapidly, low RPM won't hurt the FC, but reduce. Unless otherwise stated. |

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Dec 9 2010, 03:46 AM) As long as the engine not vibrate, it means adequate torque at that RPM @ that speed.Added on December 9, 2010, 9:49 am QUOTE(MR_alien @ Dec 9 2010, 07:57 AM) i dn't think will......but will have the fear of the engine suddenly shut down because of RPM too low if his leg suddenly release Nope. As long as the RPM didn't fall below 1k, no need to worry about engine stall. at garden road i seldom shift gear one, sometimes 3rd even slower than 30km/h, about 1.2k RPM only.As i said, if ur engine is vibrate or choke, then its time to change gear, otherwise if just smooth and steady pace, even 40km/h @ 5th gear also no problem. QUOTE(joexoll @ Dec 9 2010, 03:53 PM) bump Brake fluid is unnecesary, it can more than 40k. For radiator coolant, very cheap item only, change or not change also ok. But if u bring to Proton SC, there sure will change the raiator coolant, no room to negotiate if u want warranty.again hope anyone here could advise when we need to change brake fluid and coolant...is it during 20k service?? thanks |

QUOTE(sg999 @ Dec 10 2010, 10:16 PM) but they say 5L u cant use it This post has been edited by coolkwc: Dec 11 2010, 04:07 AMit will auto "die" Added on December 10, 2010, 10:17 pm y auto cannot? i saw auto rpm is lower than manual so the top speed should higher?or because not enough force? Auto gear ratio is longer, especially overdrive (4th gear) compare with overdrive (5th gear manual), engine is not enuf power to push the car beyond that speed, even 170km/h is hard to reach. Added on December 10, 2010, 10:17 pm very excited leh... optimum speed for BLM is 100km/j la +100. At this range, the FC is the best. I drive at highway from JB to Ipoh i only max out at 3.4k rpm @ 105km/h, ya is slow for this journey, but what i got is 16+km/L for that speed. I understand my car is BLM only, low budget car, so have to drive slow, no choice. |

QUOTE(sonicscourge @ Dec 12 2010, 04:23 PM) You can try that. I did so many times before, i only manage to get what the spec stated, minimum 6L/100km @ 90km/h. That time is 1000km mileage car, so i drove from JB to Ipoh at highway @ 90km/h max. |
