My friend asked me about the Hifiman HM-801 as I was reading about it on the web. After what I told 'em what it does(which according to today's generation pretty much does nothing) and told him the price, he said it's the stupidest thing ever to be sold on the market, and pretty much rubbed it in my face after I told him I'm trying to get one.

I used the headband for 1 day. SQ differed a very little-- treble airiness/sparkle went down but bass prominence increased. Unfortunately the headband clamped too hard, my ears were very pained. I went back to the clips after giving them a good bend. May retry the headband in future though.

i not flaming u also, just saving u so hyper. i never said my rig very good also...

you should't buy ksc75 recabled based on what we say, u must audition ur self, to see it fits your liking anot IMHO
