ipods dont support FLAC but they do support ALAC and m4a which are apple lossless..

If you are using ipod touch/iphone as lossless music player , use properly sorted playlist avoid transfering whole album . This is how i survive with my 32 gb 2nd gen .

Yup, I know Ipod doesn't support FLAC so I've got mp3s in mine.
It depends really. On long distance drives, usually cruise in the 240-250 range as I can still listen to music. Occasionally, I take it up to around 280 and have on occasion maxed out the Nismo speedometer. I'm not telling you this to show off but you brought it up and I guess it also explains why mp3s are more than enough since at that sort of speed you have to pay 110% attention plus there is also fair bit of noise so its unlikely you'd be paying much attention to the music anyways. But this was when I was running a 2.8 motor with about 580hp at the wheels @ 1.7-1.8 bar day in day out.

In reference to the headphones, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I haven't reached the level whereby I can evaluate the differences in how different headphones produce sound nor am I able to describe the sound in the same technical terms that most of you guys are able to do. Therefore, a top of the line headphone is very likely to be wasted on me but I'd gladly spend 50 times more on modifying cars which to most people would seem like a waste.

I do have some pictures of my car audio system but mostly they show the subwoofers while totally ignoring the custom work that went into the speakers installation which most people think comes standard on all GTRs. Anyways, I don't have top of the range equipment/brands because I didn't want to spend that much. Basically, I'm satisfied considering I didn't have to fork out heaps of money for some high-end sound sytem plus the installer did meet my expectations.

There are a few that could produce warm sound... a copper type will serve you well. Thus, the ALO cryo copper or even the van der huul is one of the good pick.

Actually its all depend on you, I saw ppl wearing MS1 on the street before but for me I think that the size a bit over for that purpose. All these models open type, so if you on it loud, it will cause disturbance to surrounding people, beware of this.
