for the DT880, 25 n 600 ohm is RM1500. 250 ohn is rm1200.
no idea with the DT990

250 ohm is a little main stream thus being sold a little cheaper... but after ive tried the 600 ohm, id suggest you get that ..... dont worry bout driving it coz the "orange" amp is more than enough for it and its a definitely must buy if youre getting a beyer DT880

If you hv enuf budget for an amp and the headphone, then grab either the 250/600 one, otherwise, go for the 32 ohm BD.

So far in my experience getting the 250ohm ver. for dt880/dt990 is pretty wasted unless you can get those 2nd hand.But if you're still insist of getting the 1st hand product for beyers,try checking out the beyers dt770 pro 250 ohm version then.Jaben sells them,doesn't require an amp to sound really nice and the SQ is around 70% as good as the dt880 600ohm version.Plus it's a closed can so the isolation from outside noise is a certain already.

But you gonna buy it next year right?Well it's better to just asking around when you're ready to buy one soon.Who knows maybe you probably getting into another brand instead?

yes in detail its more or equal the same as the DT880 600ohm with unamped condition while the DT880 is amped.. but the DT770 pro 250ohm has one major problem and it is it's flat response.. it will sound very very lifeless and very very unforgiving to sources, some ppl find it sounding as if alot of things being thrown at you as well ... its for professional usage after all and not for casual/relaxing listening

dt880/600 is tuned to sound linear and also having the capability to produce the details very close to DT770 pro.. its actually a really good buy and worth to save up for if youre willing to.

not sure how the NAD302 will sound with the beyer.. but after testing a few beyers, i find that they're all very sensitive to amps and i suggested the orange amp cuz i find them as one of the best

i wont recon the 32ohm cuz if im not mistaken its about the same price as the 600ohm

NS good what.. free from spending for 3 months and you get RM300 also ... take it slow man, the headphones and amps wont run away

Personally tried it myself.
But of course MS1i sounds more musical..
But for that price,it is very good already..
If you can get some DAC/amp even better.
Or use soundcard at least..

greedy indeed. bear in mind that different phones have different drivers, cables, tuning, etc.
in the case of the ksc75, the driver have a lot of potential, but the cable is restricting it..
the same can not be said for most other headphones or earphones.
so recabling might give small to no improvement, it might even destroy the balance and sound of the headphone, ruining the performance.
it's not just a simple task of upgrade.
cable also have their grades, and sometimes the cable that comes with the headphone is already quite good, u need to spend so much more,
probably much more than the price of the headphone itself to get some improvement on the sound, and by that time,
it's better to buy higher grade headphones, since it's no longer worth the time, money, effort, and warranty for the recabling upgrade.

MS1i recable is good oso.
just the improvement not as much as recable the ksc75.

Seriously,that day tested MS1 wood mod at Jaben and really feel much much different than stock one.
But u really look 'alien'..haha.
