any nf7 user try the vdimm bios trick successfully?

Zahri, which bios r u in? CPC off or CPC on? 1.8 or 1.85 ? wahhh.... need good cooling / water there dude. max i co wif this 1.75v. try increasing the VDimm. 2.8v - 2.9v... i say, still safe for vdimm. n one more thing, monitor ur +12v n +3.3v. these rails should be in range +-5%. If lower, then need a good PSU. If its fluctuate so much (more than 0.1v), need fluctuation mod there. ask collinwong for this mod.

no need to fear the temp,,,,, the max is 80!,,,,if u do 70 it is just fine.

BTW: the PSU fluctuation is crap! well im running my rig in rm 45 450w PSU.... and the

+12 = 11.80

3.33 = 3.22

and can oc sky high no prob at all,,,,

what is "fluctuation mod",,,explain please!

BTW: full system spec is at my siggy!

thanks for the tip, will go home and do that !! biggrin.gif increase to 1.8v or 1.85

using a ThermalTake GOLF 325 COmbo Heatsink biggrin.gif

might change to SLK900A.

i did not flash my bios yet, i'm still on the original Abit bios..

CPC not sure....
my vdimm is 2.6v i think...
rite now on Kingmax DDR's 256mb x 2, not sure wether can OC. some say CAN !!

i wont bet a high oc wif official bios,tho. in my exp, highest oc on official bios is around 215-220. after using modded bios, wif some burning n tweaking, able to do 260 wif 2.5-2-2-11.

fluctuation mod is a mod that basicly made the vcore STABLE .... smile.gif it shorten da fluctuation range .... thus maintaining stable vcore to ur processor ....

ok RM 45 psu .... it's sure doing fine .... but .... once it blows.... bye bye to ur rig doh.gif this is for real... last time i dun believe it ... until my fren's mobo fried... graphic card kong etc becoz of psu failure sudden during oc

yup, this is true. my icute blow oso. lucky me, onli the +12v rails. got burn on the mobo +12v ATX connector. Lucky my mobo survived.

i manage to get 2.93vdimm when i set 2.6v in bios at first. but once i change the vdimm again, the trick is unsuccesful.

omg solarmax.... i aso owned this psu .... da rails are strong ... but very very light only da weight sad.gif den i scare..... changed to enlight smile.gif btw... i dun think da psu is 450w....

i used to have those twin fan 450w. after 6 month, burned on +12v. lucky my mobo survived. after dat, i dun dare to "touch" another icute. smile.gif
