1T is better, but depends on what ram and mobo u're using... on an NF2 mobo + double sided ram, i'll recomend using 2T for stability and greater clock speed.

how far you manage to get with D27 fire?

i doubt later my mobo no more warranty from abit.

what max Vdimm can go after mod ?
*
it's depend on your psu 3.3v rail.

I'm using acbel 450w, after modding, i manage to get 3.26v since the 3.3v rail reading is 3.3v smile.gif

normally the soft L12 are not as good as the wire trick L12 smile.gif i use to remove the L12 Wire trick to prove it..... and i got stable at 240Mhz only.... can't go 250+ stable without that wire trick...
*

blink.gif  .. i just be thankfull, someone did had time to mod the bios.. whistling.gif , brows.gif
Your 230fsb with what Vdimm? Mem chips? L12 mod?
*
with others modd. bios like d26 Manta Rays XT or d26 merlin speed fire, i manage to get above 250mhz fsb easily. but for d27 3dfire, i cant even boot with 230mhz fsb. i've tried the L12 mod but it cant fit the proc since i couldnt find a very tiny wire. i'm using bh5 and feed with 3.6v stable at 250mhz @ 2-2-2-11. smile.gif

i tried D27 1T..cant more than 225fsb.

any others bios that can reach more than 225???D26?
Using

2x2 Corsairs Xms Bh-6

i tried my friend's 1GB kingston BT-43,cant reach more than 230..izzit bcoz of the L12 mod?
my friend can reach 250easily wif his winchester+fatality
*
I've the same problem as you, cant get 230fsb with d27 3dfire. but for others such as d27 taipan, d26 speed fire, d25 3dfire, i can get at least 250fsb.

Just did the L12 wire mod. Load optimised defaults in bios and I got 166mhz fsb. Havent push to higher fsb but in sandra memory benchmark, i got lower bandwidth. sad.gif

Updated: Just flash to D27 3Dfire 1T and finally i got 252fsb. Will push higher soon smile.gif
