hmm...nice heatsink. lol can see the nForce logo after placing a heatsink....i like the label at the chip... hehe tongue.gif muz sacrifice to get better stability.

btw...is tat ur board? issit a Thermalright SI-97 at the proc or wut??

ya, that's my NF7-S before, but now goes to another people tongue.gif

u r right, the heatsink is Thermalright SI-97 which also sold to people laugh.gif

SI-97 and SI-97A are both same. Just SI-97A come with bracket for s939 socket.

i m nf7-s rev2.0 user, anyone can help me here ?
previously i was using 2 x 256mb ddr333, so my setting was clockspeed 166mhz x 12.5 which was 2.09ghz, then ytd i change my ram to 1gb ddr400, y i unable to run at 200mhz x 10 >"<... anyone can help ?

Mind to provide us your cpu's OPN? and what is the codename of your CPU (eg: Palomino, Thoroughbred or Barton)?

IIANM, I think your CPU is multiplier locked.

any CPU-Z screenshot? what is the symptom when u set the multiplier to and fsb to 200x10? cant boot or remain same?
try to set ur fsb at default and change only the multiplier.

cant boot lo...
166mhz x 12.5 can boot = 2.09ghz
200mhz x 10 cannot boot = 2.00ghz

i jus change my ram to 1gb ddr400, last time was using ddr333, (166 x12.5 is last time setting)

maybe because ur multiplier can be overclock only,not downclock..
have u try 200 x 12.5? or 200 x 11?

try flash bios to D26 Mantarays XT and then give a try to 10x again.

or u might try at fsb 166x10.5 or 166x11 or 166x13 . try at original fsb but different multiplier.

best is to flash to D26 Mantaray XT bios like wut gsan said...

now i stil running 12.5 x 166mhz wit my 1gbddr400...
coz i waiting for new power supply and VGA card...
