coz i tink its quite unlikely for 2 reasons,
1. Sgs is still new, so i would guess maxis would still haf the rights for about 1 more month++
2. I doubt that digi would sell the fone at that high of a price, especially when its with a contract.

guys,for those who r using maxis data plan..i have got a question..i sign 500mb per month...if i din use for utube,can tahan 1 month ?XD....and how i do set my phone to off all data coz i scared background program auto run and cost me a bomb!i know 3gwatchdog,but i head tat its not working on samsung phone..

is quite sufficient for data sync, email and some light web surfing though. because you calculate.. 500MB, mean 16.666MB per day. can tahan lah.. haha

That depends how u use lo.. I,oso seldom utube, but I surf alot and occasionally download stuff from market. but I do use vnc to connect back home to my pc la.. Now almost 1 month liao, data usage by 3g watchdog shows roughly 600mb. But im on 1.5gb plan so no worries. Imo 500mb u need to be careful, 1.5gb if u don do serious downloading its basically like unlimited. Well like I,said b4 paying an extra 240/year is way way better than paying extra 240/month if u would exceed the 500mb quota. Btw 3g watchdog is usaBle u jz nid 2 restRt after install, if u wan to turn off completely data use smoda widget from market, its free

i just put on my maxis sim card..n installed 3gwatchdog...i din do anything but the data seems like active,now 200kb already@@wat happen@@

U need to turn data completely off using smoda. If not background services will sync automatically

alright....n when i register online,i key in imei no n it says imei no shud contains alpha numeric but my imei oni numeric!

Anybody using I9000XXJP3? What's the feedback so far?

JP3 is the most i love using, but right now i am on DXJG4, just want to feel how it is on an official firmware.

i can say i miss the flash 10.1 support on JP3, but DXJG4 i do encounter less lag. (note: i apply lag fix on both firmware).

but DXJG4 have less problem with application cause JP3 is just a leaked beta firmware. so still got some application that is incompatible with it, but not much apps that have problem.....

I think they can settle it with a licensing agreement, which was the actual intention, but somehow I think talks broke down.
