Anyway I've jsut downloaded the necessary files to reflash my phone.

Want to ask, what are the chances that I could accidently brick it, and is it recoverable?

Am just taking the precautionary steps.

Any other programs that I could use to backup the contacts, messages and apps in the phone?

THanks.

I've done rooting.

So how to access the superuser option? And what could I do with it?

Hey wanna ask since I rooted the phone and backup with Titanium. Should I back up everything from my phone (messages\contacts\songs) from the internal rom to pc as well?

Would the flash wipe out everything in the internal Memory?

Thanks again.

Flashed the firmware with Odin, the phone restart and prompted me to recovery thingie, is this normal?

And if I choose reboot? The phone would just restart and Prompted to Galaxy S start up but wouldn't go further.

next time save your contacts as Google Contacts, everything is save in Cloud, so doesn't matter how many times u flash your phone, the contacts will still be there, instant sync.

Are those separate apps that need to be installed on the phone or pc?

Sorry noob question, I hope I didn't annoy you all. First time smartphone user here.

Any idea any retail shop that sells it and the cost?
