I face the same situation too, some .dll files missing, it's actually there, but somehow, with a "_" infront of those files, thats why when updating, it cant find the files...

Try brut map, you can download the map tiles into ur SD card and then you won't need data.

Root is NOT required for brut, just the apk file and apk installer.

Root is only required to uninstall the original maps app, if you want to.
But i'll just leave it for the sake of leaving it there.

if no data,how does it going to navigate?

U still have onboard GPS.

P/S : i'm on maxis data plan.

The only reason why you need a data plan with the original maps app is because it downloads map tiles into the phone as you load the map.

But once you have already downloaded the maptiles using brut, which saves the tiles on SD card, the data plan is not needed.

The guidance system is still run via a GPS chip.

then where can get the latest map?perhaps you can show some tutorial? i've been using sygic and got bored ady

just completed the lag fix and run the quadrant but end up with around 850+ score only
duno what happen..
there was no error when i running the lagfix and also 1GB of storage gone too

you using which 1? .bat method or update.zip method?

BusyBox must be 1.17.1, not the latest.

now trying to unlagfixme and comes out many FC =.="
guess i need to reflash all over again(SUCKS!!!)

how brut works? it replaces google map? or the navigation on JG4?

brut map is another variant of google map, with voice navigation. It's just an app, like the original stock map app.

where to find brut? i search market didnt founf it

It's not in market. You need app installer and push the apk to SD card to install. PM me for details.

when i update to JG4 there is a navigation app beside the google map

if i install the BRUT map, it replaces it? or Brut Map is a complete diff app? or it work as a DATABASE which jst store the map so that google navigation can use it?
