QUOTE(ryanlaw.cs @ Aug 12 2010, 11:31 AM) One Click Lag Fix 2.0 - released. Alpha stage. Who want to try??? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=751864 QUOTE(kokhuang @ Aug 12 2010, 11:45 AM) From the FAQ on the thread, the TS said it is safe. Some said otherwise but I'll just use this until some better firmware or method is out. |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Aug 12 2010, 01:57 PM) might want to try this They said it will work with ANY Firmware WITHOUT custom Kernel.but before that,we should repartition first? don have any problems with existing apps? and can we straight away flash to new firmware without uninstall the lagfix? To be safe just flash a new firmware, then apply it. And there's already LagFix 2.0. They said is even faster than 1.0, about 100+ quadrant score more. |

QUOTE(yc1437 @ Aug 13 2010, 01:27 AM) It's not maxis problem it's android problem, the switching of data coection just terrible in 2.1, if I not mistaken the up coming froyo will have a specific option to on off data. The current method is actually rename the apn to make the phone fail to connect to data that's why the apn on off is not stable Actually is Samsung's fault. I used all the HTC android phone, they have an option to off mobile network in settings or just hold your power button, there's an option there. But not the case for SGS |

next time save your contacts as Google Contacts, everything is save in Cloud, so doesn't matter how many times u flash your phone, the contacts will still be there, instant sync.

QUOTE(ckdenion @ Aug 15 2010, 10:38 PM) btw wanna edit... Normal Map and Nav won't allow you to nagivate, because google navigate only allows certain countries such as US, Uk to use.installed brut google map n navi but seems like no different than d stock google map n navi... wads d different of both usage? What brut did is, hack it and allow anywhere in the world to use it. Yes Google Nav uses data connection, it needs to download the maps |

QUOTE(Crossover @ Aug 16 2010, 09:26 AM) Then i must be very lucky, downloaded and installed successfully :-) poor guy, let me help out.I posted earlier regards the lagfix error, but no replied from all the sifu here :-( Hope will get some reply, i shall try again: 1) Any different between lagfix 1.0 and 2.3? 2) anyone of you encouter problem with JG4 + lagfix 2.3? 3) i m currently on lagfix 1.0, if there is no problem with JG4+lagfix 2.3, thinking of upgrade it, if i do upgrade, do i need to unfix the 1.0 before upgrade to 2.3? 1)I tried both, 2.3 seems a lil bit faster, about 100+ quadrant score higher 2) No problem so far, I'm using Samset JM5 1.9d + LagFix 3) Yes you must unfix 1.0, best is just re-flash a new firmware, it will clean up your lagfix. |

QUOTE(Crossover @ Aug 16 2010, 10:06 AM) thank mate...! Throw away Kies, is a waste of time using it. Just like you're stuck with iTunes with iPhone, but with android is not a mandatory.Re-flash a new firmware, well, i m using Kies, and currently on the latest JG4, dun think Kies can do re-flash right? |
