QUOTE(azuansabri @ Oct 10 2010, 12:17 AM) Please beware! At mudah, there is a seller selling 'original' latest season jerseys complete with 'official' EPL NNs and 'original' EPL patches at RM130. Too good to be true. And the pictures have the background of cheap pirate jerseys shop. I emailed the seller and asked him whether his jerseys are really original or just the 'so-called ori grade' jerseys (just to get more info). But he insists that his jerseys are original and he is also selling siam grade A jerseys at RM60. I really hate this kind of seller. The RM130 jerseys are fakes. Also selling for RM90 w/o NN.

I asked him about the badges and he said they didn't have lextra plastic film on top, and he used to get it from Inter store. I don't know about the Respect one, but I've never seen a starball that didn't have the plastic film on top. Is that possible? This post has been edited by hcosimo: Oct 10 2010, 09:33 AM

I believe all the latest sencillia product doesnt have any plastic film anymore. This includes the starball 2010/2011. Correct me if I am wrong.

by theory jenglots will be right, any new production of the badge, starting from end of 2008 (First ever is the Man Utd WCC Champions patch) will be Senscilia and without plastic film. That being said, the most recent Starball is being used from 2008-2009 onwards and those productions come with plastic film. I am not sure if a new batch is already produced or not, because i have not yet seen any without films. but if there is, then it should be without plastic backing.
But for the seller quoted above, the RESPECT patch is dodgy enough to be spotted by naked eyes, not even a close imitation.

The starball without plastic film might be harder to be applied in correct position and angle.

I believe its authentic. cool, well i have not got one of the new batches yet because i have stocked up on a few of the plastic filmed ones when i found some cheap ones, in case it goes "extinct" and price skyrockets but that is authentic all right. Compare it to any other Sencilia product and you will see it has the same glue material - thin and scarce, nearly cant see anything at all. But once applied, IMO it sticks better than Lextra...sometimes Lextra does come off if using normal iron, but not so much for Senscilia.

Knows nothing about Lextra actually at that time. Applied the EPL badge. After 3-4 washes, tercabut already.. This post has been edited by jenglots: Oct 10 2010, 12:22 PM

Thanks guys --------- As far as I know, they started using the rubber made badges only after november 2008. In 2007-08 and early 2008-09 season, they were still using the velvet ones. QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Oct 10 2010, 01:11 PM) was it? i know there's 1 season they used half/half, but not sure if its 0708 or 0809 http://recensioni.ebay.it/TOPPA-LEGA-CALCI...000000009326865I found a guide on ebay that explains about this and also gives tips on how to avoid buying fake badges as well. It's a bit outdated, but I found it pretty useful. The only problem is that the guide is in italian, but nothing that google translator can't handle. -------- By the way, anybody knows if this shirt is authentic? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWNX:ITThis post has been edited by hcosimo: Oct 11 2010, 01:01 AM
