I think Nike club shirts are quite on the long side. My MU kit is long-ish as well. but width and sleeve length, is fine.
And that is a fine away kit, For Inter Shirts i onl buy the home but this time i break the rule for the awesome Biscione on the side of the shirt |

QUOTE(GaryTan @ Aug 12 2010, 10:11 PM) can anyone recommend websites which purchase old jerseys? i suggest u sell in ebay directly. If you check classicfootballshirts, that same shirt are being sold by them for nearly GBP50, they earn like 150% profit from just buying from u and resell it.I only know of classicfootballshirts and shirtmasters.co.uk, looking to sell my 1994 holland jersey to one of such sites. |

QUOTE(chikorita85 @ Aug 16 2010, 03:34 PM) Lol dude, I'm just saying that seller is from where I am now la, not hinting anything >.<Added on August 16, 2010, 3:55 pmAnd with respect to mcmanaman who I think is a good player, bergkamp giggs and Zola is in their own league. Besides, why are you so particular about who the seller is comparing him with anyway? He is selling a Liverpool jersey with mcmanaman printed, it is authentic and that's all that matters. Why wanna discuss who mcmanaman is like??? Rather pointless IMO This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Aug 16 2010, 03:55 PM |

QUOTE(ashkamz @ Aug 21 2010, 11:36 PM) I noticed that there's another 1 level higher tier of fake jersey after AAA. They called it "Ori" grade. The seller at this one M'sian forum claimed that it's come from the warehouse that produce the original jersey. He said everything sebijik like Ali. From the hologram, tag, serial number, etc2. if u are suggesting the seller from the link u quoted is selling the so called "ori" grade, then i'd say ive seen better fakes than those. the ones sold in the LYN link quoted above is very clear fake, definitely not the best out there.I asked for the picture of the so called ori grade. But for the first picture sudah kantoi. The tag for Liverpool home jersey was actually a tag for Real Madrid away. But the most important thing is that this seller claimed that other seller sell this "Ori" grade at RM180. So I think this is the fella that the seller mentioned... |

the grey area about such DIY printings is that because there is no official release, its difficult to claim it is fake. So if you wanna get 1/DIY yourself such shirts, for personal pleasure like all of us DIY-ers love, then by all means go ahead. The worry that some of us here have is that some bugger get a sponsorless Formotion Liverpool shirt, apply the DIY sponsor and then selling it as a match issued/ match worn shirts. This is the biggest concern by Michael Yip about the carlsberg sponsor issues IMO.

QUOTE(arvil22 @ Aug 24 2010, 12:52 PM) dunno why so many people crazy on PI , replica is more comfy and long lasting compare with PI , adidas 3 PU line , nike 06/07 season below all is not recommend to wash at all PI kits are not commercially available and because of that are rarer and more "collectible". And even if they are comemrcially available like Liverpool Formotion, it's in a limited quantity. As for comfiness, it's subjective. For me, replica sometimes are too long and baggy, while PI kits do give me a "cut" look...maybe because i dun have a tummy hihihi Of course when the number of PI kits leaked becomes too many, basic supply-demand will cause the price to drop, for example i got myself a Barca 0809 home PI kit for only GBP16, even cheaper than normal replica when on sale! QUOTE(arvil22 @ Aug 24 2010, 02:06 PM) i mean comparing to replica la replica and PI shirts have their own values and uses, so cant reli say replica better than PI, or PI better than replica. This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Aug 24 2010, 02:57 PM |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Aug 24 2010, 04:50 PM) Actually from my opinion, I think replica kits are better if you prefer to wear them all the time (like me). totally understand that, stitches are more robust than heat or glued seam. However i'm just merely replying to arvil22, who says he cant understand why some people are into PI. so i'm giving reasons as to why some might regard PI to be collectibles, especially those super duper rare ones. When it comes to wearing, of course i dun just wear PI, most of the PI's are too large for me to wear anyway, difficult to find PI in size S/M. The replica version jerseys are meant for fans and made to be robust and last longer. Player issue jerseys are meant to be worn on football pitches for performance and to assist the players. Replica version jerseys are made to be more longer lasting. Take example, the player issue jerseys are some made with heat bonded seams. Instead of replica jerseys, where they are stitched.. more better and last longer. Player issue jerseys have PU printing or for adidas's case, PU typed 3 stripes. The replica jerseys instead are embroidered, so which one lasts better? Remember the England away Euro 2004? Which has the silver material included into the jersey? Well, the player issue one has more silver (that was what umbro said) and if the replica version is the same, it will be more expensive. So to jersey collectors.. don't feel shame or sad if you collect only replica version jerseys. This is just a hobby and passion, not a career life. Don't disrespect others who can't afford to buy player issue jerseys or brag that I am a match worn collector only for example lah.... It's just a hobby and there is no need to take thing seriously. For me.. I prefer to buy blank jerseys. No namesets. So what.. compared to others.. that's my preference... So nothing to worry. But again, remember the purpose why there are 2 different type of jerseys... replica and player issue. and i think the term "more durable and robust" has been misunderstood by some. Of course PI may not be as strong as replica, coz they are meant for wear in match to match basis, but that doesnt mean they are totally crap in terms of quality, otherwise when shirt tugging happens on field, the shirt will be torn. They are still durable, but replica is more durable. Besides not all PI shirts are heated bonded, Nike PI shirts nowadays are all stitched and the logo and club badge are all embroided as well. So it is not completely right to generalize replica > PI in terms of durability because some are, some are not. Depends on which PI we are talking about, this differs from manufacturer, which club, what year etc. Anyway if there's anyone who think i am saying PI is good and replica is second grade, then sorry if i'm misleading. my collection consists of mostly replicas and occasional PI if the price is right, i think roughly to the ratio of 10 to 1. Just that Arvil22 doesnt seem to think PI is worth collecting, so i just shed some light onto why some people collect PI as well. Hope what i said was not taken out of context As for belittling others, those guys from my-fjc will know how strict and stern and no-nonsense i can be when it comes to people who are unethical or do illegal stuff or being rude to each other This post has been edited by pyroboy1911: Aug 24 2010, 05:33 PM |

QUOTE(HeReLiSm @ Aug 26 2010, 11:37 PM) Nike SportsWear.. that being said, i believe the PI for Nike will have printed washing tag, and the NASCIDO PARA/JOGAR FUTEBOL tag above the sizing info will not be there...but the mesh panel at the back and the holes at the side are PI stuff, so this seems like a hybrid @jerseyman yeah..as i asked for your help ealier..this jersey made according to the PI-Brazil jersey..we can see on the logo and crest..and also the material of the jersey..and the side channel... thnks btw jerseyman.. |

QUOTE(GaryTan @ Aug 31 2010, 12:36 AM) Heard from forumers that old NNs are harder to apply and might have expired, did u face such issues? To be honest, the main issue is with the MetroSports products, not so much with SportingID products. For example there's 2 productions of the 05-07 England Home NN, both MetroSports and SportingID was licensed to produce them. Expired ones are usually the MetroSports version. Metrosports was bought over by SportingID few years back, so theoretically newer batches of PU NN should not have such problems, assuming SportingID continue using the "better" glue, material and production methods. (Correct me if im wrong on these "history")However, many other factors need to be taken into account as well, like weather, storage condition etc. So it is still advisable not to apply NN that is a few years old. If you still need to push on it, get it done using a proper heat press machine and not using the DIY way of iron and board. Even then there's still risk to it. |

Adidas NN by themselves are problematic, even the 2008-2010 ones have problem with difficulty peeling. I cant answer as i never deal with the 2008 one to be honest.
