I'd suggest either Optimum Nutrition, or If you're willing to spend a bit more, go for Nitrotech Hardcore ProSeries. There are a few people I usually deal with from LYN itself, wayyy cheaper than how much they're selling it for in GNC

I take my morning shake with cold milk, tastes bloody awesome thanks to the Chocolate Milkshake flavour. But I only use one and a quarter scoops so that I wont have to keep running to the toilet! Haha Post workout I take 2 scoops with cold water, adjust the thickness myself to make it taste good Added on October 18, 2010, 4:32 pmQUOTE(ariff02 @ Oct 18 2010, 03:52 PM) anyone here does jump rope to lose weight? Me, me! Haha Good warmup cum cardio workout, I usually do it 2 times a week, four 5 minute sets with 3 minute breaks in between. This post has been edited by vinesh22: Oct 18 2010, 04:32 PM

I used to do HIIT 2 times a week max. And trust me, if u can still walk around like nobody's business after 15-20mins after a session, then it definitely isn't high intensity enough. Try something else, do more weights, trial and error method is sometimes required for different people because not everyone has the same metabolism etc.. Your weight going up doesnt necessarily mean you're not loosing fat, but the fact that you're not doing weights and the weight is pounding on is a bit odd.

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Oct 18 2010, 09:31 PM) You might be thinking muscle gain, and I think that's the case. He doesn't do weights, but his cardio is all lower body intensive. So despite the fact that he doesn't do weights, his cardio is making his lower body to do all the resistance work and that might prompt muscle gain. I've friends who have never done a single squat (Weight training terms) in their life, but their legs are all lean and muscular because they get their weekly fix of football. Yeah, I get where you're coming from and I agree mate, same goes to some of my friends who play badminton and hockey. Although the latter does involve a ton of bodyweight squatting, haha

I was doing 10kmh when I was 85-90kg, and trust me, I'm a BIG dude and that was after about 6months of training. How intense it is depends on yourself, u cant be asking us how much your body can or cannot take dude.

pez, fats wise, A LOT in that 6 months. At the same time, I was really really strict with my food intakes and did LOADS of weight training. Proud to be almost 80kg now, but with less than 13% bodyfat. Weight training and leaning more towards bodybuilding, although not professionally, was probably the best thing I've done

Not necessarily mate. I started off without knowing ANYTHING and joined an oldskool bodybuilding gym, no aircond or hot chics in tight clothes. Lucky for me, the trainer there was a competiting bodybuilder and had good knowledge on what to and not to do. The people coming there were also MOSTLY male, all huge buff dudes who never hesitated to give advice whenever I asked. If you're a girl especially, a well renowned gym with good trainers would be helpful, just dont get conned to pay for unnecessary services. Most importantly, dont feel ashamed to ask if u need advice or help, u've got nothing to loose and everything to gain. Looking at the equipments for the first time would definitely be confusing, so ASK and dont ASSUME, remember that using them properly is very important to see positive results..cheers!

My goodness, if its too fast then go slower, no one is forcing u to do what others are doing. Increase your tolerance level slowly, take one step at a time and dont push TOO HARD. Doesnt mean u shouldnt push yourself though..

It doesnt matter what speed others are doing and how long THEY are running. Do what u think is suitable for u. Speed 12 might be easy for someone else, but difficult for u correct? The aim is to TRAIN your body to ADAPT, not force it to sudden changes. For example, there was this skinny dude, first time seeing him in my new gym, tried to use the smith machine RIGHT AFTER I was done without removing my weights just because his gf was standing there. What happened next was the funniest shit i've seen in months!

QUOTE(Syd G @ Oct 22 2010, 02:59 PM) auww be nice next time. help spot him and scream "it's all you bro!" btw an update, am almost 2kg lighter than my pre-preggers weight now. i rike LMAO, well, he actually managed to bring it down to his chest, then was stuck. The girlfriend panicked, and started taking off the plates from one side of the machine before another dude just lifted the whole bar off him. Luckily it was a smith, if bench press, DIE! Would have helped, but was taking a break from my incline benching, barely had energy to get up...

xixo, one word of advice, don't buy the pants now bro, you'll regret it!!! Wait for another month, and measure your waist again, it will DEFINITELY be smaller!! If u wanna buy also just buy a pair, in a month it will be too large for u..hahaha Keep up the good work bro, cheers! Added on October 24, 2010, 12:20 amQUOTE(xKeneshirox @ Oct 23 2010, 10:15 PM) hey guys, true or false, going to gym just trains your muscles, but your fat will remain and it will be even harder to get rid of This post has been edited by vinesh22: Oct 24 2010, 12:20 AM

I dont see why bananas are a big no no, they are a good instant energy source actually. As for the biscuits, TRY your best to avoid them, but if u really are having a hard problem, buy those oat or high fibre biscuits, they're lower in sugar. Cant answer how many eggs coz I dont even know what your daily routines are like. Are u working, do u workout often?

Sigh, why do u keep PLAYING with the dumbell? Try googling or go youtube and learn how to use them properly. Dont just sit and curl them hoping to sweat like you've just lifted 200lbs off your chest! I like to tegur some ppl who dont know what they're doing when they're in the gym..not to show off to be a smart ass, but to share what I've learnt from others. Ask people if u dont know what to do, dont worry about getting scolded or looked down on. What doesnt kill u only makes u stronger!!!

xixo, tell me about it bro, some just come in thinking they know everything. The rest are sacred or shy to ask coz they think the bigger guys were born with knowledge on working out! Haha Everyone starts from somewhere, thats why I like to approach ppl and share proper techniques, its not like I'm gonna gain 10kg by helping someone, LOL.. Orang90, dumbell je tak cukup la bro. U need to do workouts for your ENTIRE body, not just your arms. I'm not saying u hv to do a full body workout EVERYDAY, instead, break it up into different body sections for different days. Go read the bodybuilding thread, loads of good info there mate, and it will help u out A LOT!

Mark, u shouldnt FORGET arms and abs mate, they're equally as important. FOCUS more on chest, back and shoulders, but ALWAYS REMEMBER that your arms, abs and portions below the waist also need to be worked on, they wont just turn lean by themselves. They do need attention too, just not as much compared to the 3 bigger parts. Work those abs baybeh, u wont regret it!

I'd say 12kg for the effort he's promised to put in. Remember that muscle is denser than fat, so just because you're gaining MASS, doesnt necessarily mean its a bad thing mate. If you're doing what you're telling us here, then its definitely an improvement on your side. Just be honest with YOURSELF and dont cheat on your diet and workouts. We can only advise u, the rest is your own will power..
