You must know that Alpha, Prebeta, Beta, RC are all
unfinished softwares. Even though, for example Windows 7 allow you to use for up to one year, it's not finished, contain bugs and security holes. I'd rather use the limited 30-days final version for evaluation instead of using any unfinished RC as Microsoft no longer provide updates after the period is up.

Google Chrome OS is nowhere near Windows. Cloud-based system with few "apps" available. For anyone who are just surfing the Internet, opening and editing basic documents etc maybe can live fine with it, but for a full-blown computer experience, even Linux is way better.

Indeed Android is based on Linux, but it's optimized for use on mobiles/tablet and the kind. I would really love to see you use Android on your desktop or laptop and report back about your experience here
