He sure can control by introducing a policy that disallow staff to buy iPhone, doesn't that sound logical to you? hmm.gif
*
I think it is that tarnish the the Microsoft image and make more problems. Employee have the right to use the phone they like.

QUOTE(satoshi.mifune @ Nov 6 2010, 02:12 AM)
No surprise as why Steve Balmer acts that way he was one of microsoft's earliest employee, sure have such high amount of loyalty to the company after all these years with them going through ups and downs battling its rivals
*
Microsoft have to admit the fact that Apple have been making gains in the past few years.

Windows 7 works fine with me.

I guess Steve Balmer is not in a good mood when he throw the iphone? He lost half of his bonus because the delay in launching the new Windows Mobile phone. biggrin.gif

Since (if) it's a company policy, then there's nothing can those employees do. It's the same as dress code policy. Or web browsing restriction policy. Admitting facts doesn't mean they can (or will) allow employees uses competitor products.
*
Improper dress code could harm company image.

Ban the use of the iphone among MS workers policy? i have nothing to say. Just pity them.

I hope that Microsoft would make their OS greener. I have have to use laptops and i always find myself low in battery when using the Windows 7.

My Acer laptop can survive for about 1.25 hour, but it could only survive for about 45 minutes on the Windows 7.

Yeah.

Nokia avoids the S60V4 to rename the Symbian touchscreen OS to S60V5 due to the eastern culture.

QUOTE(-Hzu- @ Dec 13 2010, 01:49 PM)
I don't think so. They're making it a cloud-based OS, and the new interface for 64-bit version is only for HIGH-END computers. The new UI is codenamed "Wind" in case if you did not know.

List of Changes:
- Cloud-based OS, in order to fight piracy, and you'll have to connect to the internet if you want to use it.
- New UI for 64-bit version, codenamed "Wind". This is the biggest change, this UI is using about 170MB of your memory and it's designed for high-end computers. It will be fully 3D UI.

Micro$oft CEO, $teve Baller, stated that Window$ 8 is their most ri$ky product. It is ri$ky indeed.
*
It better not be like you said.

Otherwise, i am not getting it till i can buy a high end computer and secure cheap, high speed internet.

Haha yeah. Chenhui, you can buy i7 and all the other expensive components, but you can even afford a genuine Windows? Bravo. rclxms.gif Oh, and don't call yourself an enthusiast if you're using pirated softwares.
*
+1

I buy hardware cheap, but i pay for the Windows 7 Home Premium at the market price.

QUOTE(FarCry3r @ Dec 14 2010, 01:48 PM)
What identical proof? Can't see anything there. And uh, please, stop with the $ as if what Microsoft brings are purely for money.
*
No offence, but this is what it seems to be. I am getting disappointed with the Kaspersky as well. So much for their advertising my friend said.

You're using rearm command? If that so then what you'll do when the extended grace period is over? Format and reinstall again?
*
Well, another reason for it is that i am F***ing busy with my studies. So, i am not into computing so much. tongue.gif

But i also did not plan to download crack software in the feature. Your point is an idiot proof way of using the software "legally". biggrin.gif

Yeah, since you're not into computing that much, rearm may do the trick nicely. But for me, as I do use computers all the time, reformatting every 9 months is not an option.
*
Depends. i still prefer to use original. When i buy a software, usually it will be lifetime license except for the AVs.

QUOTE(eXPeri3nc3 @ Dec 16 2010, 09:55 AM)
Lol if your University have MSDN it's the way to go~

Or if you're using a working laptop confirm no need to worry (assuming your firm endorses original Windows whistling.gif)
*
Nah. I am still a student and i do not think I can benefit from the MSDN if my college haves it.

You can still benefits from MSDN(AA) since they not only offers Windows licenses, they usually offers development tools too.

It is not relevant in my studies.. sweat.gif Computing is only my hobby though...

I really hope that MS can produce a windows which is lighter and greener for netbooks and laptop usage.

If it keeps on rolling out the OS which is energy consuming,I might want to try out the Chrome OS netbooks.

If you did read the rumors circulating the Internet, only some files will be available on the cloud. If you're so not into cloud, why considering Google Chrome OS? hmm.gif
*
Well i do not need to read the rumors also know that. Otherwise, booting a computer without any files in the hard disk?

Non sense. I just hope that Microsoft would think carefully which feature should remain within the cloud services.

Chrome OS, I might try it out later when it hit Malaysian market for sometime.
