Oh well. You learn something new every day. However, reiterating again, no, MBA cannot do autocad properly.

Oh, no. That's just asking for trouble, especially the autocad and 3dmax. Your render would be hours on end.

Come to think of it, got autocad for mac os x meh?

all these heavy softwares requires MBP at least
without having say that, photoshop is running pretty fast in mac os but definitely not 3dsmax

I just purchased the max-out MBA 13 inch to replace my 2.66ghz 4gb ram Macbook Pro 15 inch. Hope the speed is better than my MBP. Has been carrying this jumbo for some time.

So far, is there any transparent case to cover the notebook?

Now, should I get another 13.3" versions of these two sleeves since the 13.3" maxed out MBA I've ordered from Apple online is now "Prepared for Shipment" ? hmm.gif

The family pack is just a licence thing, you still get only a single disk.
iWork'09 requires around 1.2GB disk space.

I've read b4 I ask. I believe I'm asking how many people are allowed to install. and thx for your explanation bout licensing part. Perhaps my wording is not so good therefore leading to misunderstanding. I'm not talking bout re-installation nod.gif

Why not?

I dont downgrade my experience, only adding options to whatever devices that I have. In this case, the 11.6" MBA is another device in a lighter category, and the 13.3" MBA is replacing the 13.3" 2009 MBA that I currently have. I like having options. It's like choosing which ties to wear to go to work, or which cufflinks/pocket squares to pair with a suit.
