Astro stated in FB that ASSP3 "isn't on ch804 as that was a preview channel prior to the World Cup, they'll be announcing which channel ASSP3 will be on within this week (14th)."

QUOTE(jasgill @ Aug 10 2010, 11:05 AM) On Sunday CS called me and said that they will be downloading new software within 3 weeks. They also said they will waive the fees paid so far from the time of the faulty recordings. Last night the decoder rebooted and then I saw that it showed " New PVR recording softwrae downloaded" Since then the recording seems to be working fine. Am keeping my fingers crossed Yeah i notice this word also. But when i reboot it again, that word are gone. Quiet weird huh.Sekejap ada sekejap takda. How CS will know time of faulty recording? BTW, I'm planning to bring my decoder at astro CS this weekend. Showing my PVR problem and want hear what they are going to say. |

I think as the software has already been downloaded and installed you will not get the message every time you reboot.Sekejap ada sekejap takda. How CS will know time of faulty recording? BTW, I'm planning to bring my decoder at astro CS this weekend. Showing my PVR problem and want hear what they are going to say. I guess the time of the faulty recordings will be from the time that the customer lodged a complaint with Astro. Actually they are well versed with this problem now as more people started complaining. Initially not many customers using ext HD recording facility and the problem was not taken seriously. My decoder was changed twice and only on the third complaint that they realized that the problem was not with the decoder, nor the ext disk but the software. They may still be trouble shooting and I think it was very fair of them to waive the charges. |

I think real or not. You're right. This is real:QUOTE SINGAPORE: TLC is set to make its debut in Asia on September 1, replacing Discovery Travel & Living to reach 133 million homes in 20 countries across the region. ADVERTISEMENT TLC is one of seven networks operated by Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP), alongside Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, Discovery HD World, Discovery Turbo and Discovery Home & Health. The channel launched outside of the U.S. in March, rolling out in Norway. By 2011, the lifestyle network is set to be available in more than 75 countries, reaching 100 million subscribers. “With the launch of TLC in the region, we believe that we have a perfect complement to our flagship factual network Discovery Channel and expect to build a strong second flagship lifestyle brand that will offer our affiliates and advertising partners two quality networks to target both men and women, allowing them to reach Asia-Pacific’s affluent audience," said Tom Keaveny, executive VP and managing director of DNAP. Original TLC brands that will air on the channel in the region include Cake Boss, Say Yes to the Dress and L.A. Ink. TLC in Asia will also feature travel series like Globe Trekker, Glutton for Punishment, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern and World Café Asia, currently airing on Discovery Travel & Living. http://www.worldscreen.com/articles/display/26344 Tukar nama channel je...
