There's a promotion going on right now. Surprisingly, the website isn't that congested as usual when they're having a promotion. Was only diverted to the red "buzz buzz" page for 2 -3 times. No much problem with the booking.

can we sell our ticket back? if can..how can i change the name to the new owner and the charge? please inform me ASAP... thank you

First of all, you need to check is your fare type is allowed to do a name change. FYI, name change is not allowed for economy promo.

To change the name, both of you and your friend will need to turn up at Air Asia sales counter with ID. I'm not sure with the fees but should be RM 50 or more.

Can we book Airasia online flights to and fro separately instead of a round-trip?

Sometimes I find that the round-trip costs more than we pay for booking two separate flights (flying from A to B, then back from B to A).

Is it compulsory to buy round-trip?

Can we buy to and fro flights at the same time?

yes u can. BUT, if i'm not mistaken the price (currency) depends on the departure country. For eg, KL-bangkok (pay in RM). but if u choose Bangkok-KL (pay in THB), slightly more expensive as credit card is goes thru currency exchange rate

example

i make payment for A-B on date 1/1/2011 cost rm500

so i want to change the date of flight to 2/2/2011 cost rm500 as well

but if u dont amend the date, normal ticket might cost rm400

one of the stupid thing is they will charge the higher price for the flight, they wont take count for the cheaper flight....

FYI i goin to hangzhou cost me rm1800 after change date....

AirAsia can burn a hole in the pocket if need to change the date.

1)If I'm not mistaken, you can still choose and purchase your seat after the computer have assigned you when you check in online. Hot seats are RM25 I think. And they have more leg space. How long is your flight? If it's not very long, normal seats are pretty comfy for me. Depends on your body size and length also. This is mostly up to personal preference.

2)No, I don't think there's any socket to charge any gadgets on AA. If you wanna charge your ipod, you have to use your laptop to do so. Correct me if I'm wrong.

3)Normally it's one hand carry bag max 7kg within the size allowed to fit into the overhead compartments. But most of us do carry a handbag/backpack and another bag. As long as it's not too many hand carry bags then it'll be fine. Remember not to have any sharp objects or liquid in your hand carry. Limited amount of liquid is allowed provided you put it in some ziplock plastic bag they provide.

4)You do not want to get charge for excess baggage at the counter. It'll be very expensive compared to buying in advance. 15kg baggage bought online is RM20 only while 20kg is RM30. For purchasing baggage at the counter, it seems you can only buy up to 15kg which will cost you RM30-50 depending on your destination. 5)If I'm not mistaken again, you can only pre-book one meal for each flight, which is mostly not enough for me. So pre-booking meals is just to save some money but I'll end up buying more food on board the plane anyways.

I've done that before, rather than change the date I just bought new tickets. This was one of my trips to Langkawi last year. Since AA's computer system can't seem to connect the dots (or purposely won't) I took advantage of it...

i think they purposely set to the higher price...

getting a new ticket only cost more...

2nd AA crashed landing now at kuching Airport Yesterday. Not reported anywhere in local media yet but already spread oversea
BTW, the 1st crashed was in 2004 at KK airport.

biasa laa......anything bout airasia is always like that.cant believe that it happen at 10pm last nite and it didnt came out at any newspaper in town about it today.all journalist/newspaper kena suap by airasia free flights ke?passengger could at least know in advance that their flight cancelled for today.i had to send n pick up my cousin at LCCT coz of that.i could've known if it was published in The Star this morning before sending her.@##$&%*%($&

2) you can buy a mobile battery charger for iphone and ipod nowadays to charge your gadget on flights. estimate price around RM100 checkout LYN garage sales.

5) Same here... always hungry on air asia x flights. the trip is so long that one meal is just not enough. want to order subsequent meals also always unavailable becuase AA don't stock that much meals on board. they only pack extra instant noodles in a cup. i would advice you to bring your own biscuits, peanuts, chocolate, power bar etc to endure.
