AA sure like you alot because you are such a good consumer. Don't mind being squeezed by AA and pay for someting your are supposely entitled foc.
Anyway, I didn't pay extra for it. The baggage drop counter staff, upgraded our 3 seats to priority red seats A,B and C after I brought up the problem to him.

Heard that AirAsia is planning to fly to South Africa, Kenya or Egypt soon. Hope it happens fast as it will push other airlines to lower prices.

Perhaps you didn't read my post properly.
This is about ethical business practice. When you book 3 seats under ONE (1) booking, Ethically, AA should allocate the seats closest possible. But AA's automatic seat allocation system intentionally or unintentionally break up the seats several rows away to force passenger to pay for togetherness. ( It is still ok if it is just 1 row behind)            

As for the AA is a low cost airline....not totally true. For example all in return airfare to London in mid November is more expensive than MAS as at today booking.    
Services like extra luggage weight, priority red seats ets ets ..need to pay no doubt about it. But getting paid unethically by breaking out the seats under one booking is not right.

I highlighted the issue here so that more passengers will voice out their complains to the ground staff and subsequently AA can take corrective measures to improve and to be a better passenger friendly airline.
So... I guess you also have no issue with the impending July price hike by Astro huh ?   

I can't agree with your logic above.  Upon my request to change the seats at the AA counter ground staff, their apologized for the error and gave me the the same row A,B and C. Their have ample  seats and the flight is not full.
Maybe you are a rich girl and don't mind paying for whatever is right or wrong. Average people fighting for their rights to save money are regarded as calculative and nuisance.

I hope you don't simply plugged a logic out of your own imagination to defend AA like a fan-girl. I'm not saying AA is bad is total. Just point out one or two flaws in their system. AA needs critics to improve and to be more passengers friendly.

Hi guys.. I did a stupid mistake when I add on luggage.  I clicked on the wrong choice and I have confirmed the changes. Luckily I have not made any payment but it does not allow me to modify my booking anymore. Help!!

I wouldnt take AA on long haul flights but what im more interested in is the drop in prices for conventional airlines once AA enters that market.

I flew AA from KL-CHC few days ago.
Everything went perfectly well. Book hot seats as well, very comfy. No problem or whatsoever. Overall very very satisfied with the service.

Of course the food not that nice, but it's not a big issue. Hehe.

anyone getting tix for the AA-X promo which starts today?

I asked on of my colleague that travels AA frequently, his bag fits into the hand carry luggage. And my bag + my fins are smaller. But i selected check in luggage at the "modify my booking" page. Now AA says i owe them Rm25, and i cannot cancel it. Any ideas how?
