QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Oct 20 2010, 10:49 PM) I liked led keyboard, but if it's not mechanical, not NKRO (via usb to ps2 adapter), and the key print type isn't durable (laser etched, dye sublimated or doubleshot), or not using the mechanical switch i prefer ( Cherry mx Brown, red or clear ) then i won't consider it at all. haha then which keyboard did fit ur need??I recommend people to read this article for an introduction why mechanical keyboards is a better investment than rubber dome keyboards. http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?opti...d=376&Itemid=65 Here is a more specific guide regarding mechanical keyboards http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=STA...ssary+and+Links This is an interesting article regarding key cap types http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=All+About+Keys even 7g also not laser etching |

depends, double shot good plastic quality not so much, will still have impacts on keyboard, i just prefer something more durable.
If it's too expensive, i might just straight get filco's blank key, simple as that. |

Here is a great forum thread regarding Mechanical Keyboard Guide
http://www.overclock.net/keyboards/491752-...oard-guide.html It's where I get to know (poisoned) about mechanical keyboard. I dont prefer useless function which is pointless eg: LED, anti-ghosting(RM20 PS2 keyboard can pawn this), LCD screen. After all I dont do things / game in the dark unless I have a projector screen which I wont use it as my workstation either.. Even if u really have to type in the dark, hey touch typing anyone? LED is purely for the blink which is not for me I do prefer keyboard with some extra function especially media keys which I use extensively. @Moogle how did you manage to find that keyboard? online order? I like blue more, is a touch of mechanic. This post has been edited by Westley: Oct 21 2010, 12:53 PM |
