It's very troublesome for hardware change.. just taking out a mouse last time gave me so much headache.. cutting all the cable ties (mine were permanent 1). Took me half a day to took out all the cable ties and replace them later.. Now I just connect my mouse and keyboard to my monitor's usb output (6 of them there). looks perfectly neat as well.. I also use those PVC tube you mentioned up there.. it's very troublesome actually, for my case I use it to enclose my extension plug, telephone wiring from plug to my work desk, in order to put the cable in, I would have to take out the plug wiring, and put all the cable in and reinstall the plug. I used this mostly It's easy and fast (faster I mean, not really that fast anyway), It can wrap more cable and easily break into smaller pieces if you want to.

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Oct 20 2010, 12:16 PM) Can also consider the cheaper 6Gv2 from SteelSeries as well. Ha! the 7G-1G = 6Gv2 must be worth 1 leg then! I am looking for some production friendly keyboard actually, still find expensive gaming keyboard more to a marketing gimmick than actually functioning really well. But they looks so nice on your work desk.

QUOTE(Devilene @ Oct 20 2010, 02:41 PM) if low budget den just go for razer blackwidow expert. no bling, just cherry blue keys. Strictly no blink for me lol, I hate permanent lighted keyboard. And I have really bad experience with Razer's quality control

Here is a great forum thread regarding Mechanical Keyboard Guide http://www.overclock.net/keyboards/491752-...oard-guide.htmlIt's where I get to know (poisoned) about mechanical keyboard. I dont prefer useless function which is pointless eg: LED, anti-ghosting(RM20 PS2 keyboard can pawn this), LCD screen. After all I dont do things / game in the dark unless I have a projector screen which I wont use it as my workstation either.. Even if u really have to type in the dark, hey touch typing anyone? LED is purely for the blink which is not for me I do prefer keyboard with some extra function especially media keys which I use extensively. @Moogle how did you manage to find that keyboard? online order? QUOTE(Westley @ Oct 21 2010, 11:40 AM) My kb doesn't label gaming, can join? Owning a Filco, cherry mx blue switch... Wow mechanical keyboarder's dream collection I read that 7g is actually using cherry black which makes prolong usage kinda of tiring. Best for long term usage (gaming) seems to be cherry blue / red. Das looks good http://www.daskeyboard.com/products/Deck with LED http://www.deckkeyboards.com/product_info.php?products_id=52Cheapest mechanical keyboard I can find http://max-geek-llc.amazonwebstore.com/iOn.../B000UC1W3C.htmOne of the best looking mac-white keyboard http://matias.ca/tactilepro3/index.phpshit why am I listing these keyboard here

QUOTE(xcen @ Oct 21 2010, 08:42 PM) Off topic, but does anybody know how to change Firefox browser's default chinese font to the ones we get back in school exams, you know fuller characters instead of these skinny ones. Really hurt my reading speed and eyes when reading those chinese fonts. While on topic, Filco keyboards seem pretty standard but the downside is that they use Pad Printing keys, no extra buttons and I don't see them selling here in Malaysia. So I think the price will be the same, if not more expensive than Ducky's? I dont get what is full or skinny? do you mean font? or the trad / simplified chinese

It's like buying a speaker based on review without testing it.. worse is that speaker is event harder to visualise based on text writing

QUOTE(newuserex @ Sep 3 2011, 07:36 PM) When I need to type console command & in dark room. Thats why I'm using illuminated keyboard. it's better to get your room to light up I guess.. or memorise your key xD I always turn off my laptop backlight too, eats my battery and serve no function. QUOTE(AlexLai @ Sep 3 2011, 10:53 PM) Probably a USB powered LED table light would be a better investment than backlit keys. That way, you can see your table as well. I saw the 3M polarised desk lamp, it's very nice but cost SGD200
