Engineering drawing... is it even remotely possible to draw at 5k+ dpi? The only reason its still working for my games is because i could set the in-game sensitivity to the lowest (Which, in some occasion, on a 1600dpi, the lowest is still extremely high)

Might i have the malaysian price range for both? DeathAdder is 60(USD?) while Inperator is 80.

Edit: Sometimes, i find aiming 1/3 of a head of the enemy extremely hard, Is that the reason why a ultra high DPI mouse is prefered? But wouldnt muscle jerks- still throw the shot off when shooting?

Edit2: If the mouse dies or breaks. Is there any repairing methods or replacement methods without buying a new one? I do not expect myself to renew a Razer every year. Also, i am not the kind of players that abuses mouse when i am lose-raging, judging on that, how long would a Razer mouse last?

Edit3: Will the game not running at 60fps makes Razer useless?

Lowyaters(?), i need some advices on whether should i get a Razer mouse from the PCFair, and if so, what should i get?

I currently use a 1600dpi E-view Laser mouse that cost me somewhere Rm60. And i've been addicted to high DPI mouse since then. I am a casual FPS player that've been in Sudden Attack, Blackshot, and Modern Warfare 2 for a while. Does a great Razor mouse really makes a big difference between a cheap $15 800dpi mouse and or my current mouse?

(From what i heard, it only gives more precision, but i'm shooting at a fairly low sensitivity anyway.)

Also, is gaming dedicated mousepads a must for using Razer mouse?

And my current mouse have a polling rate that go up and down, reporting at anywhere between 150hz to 500hz, is that normal or abnormal? I heard that usually the polling rate should be stable.

Also - most importantly, if i should be getting Razer mouse, whats a good budget yet awesome mouse i could get at current PC Fair? I do not want to buy myself a mouse that could possibly cost more than a high end graphic card.

And finally, i'll need answer fast. PC Fair is going away tomorow.

Thanks in advance.

Edit:After googling for abit, can i get a comment on DeathAdder? And its malaysian price for the PC Fair that is close to Sedang?

Edit2: Seems like DeathAdder and some Razer mouse is Infrared instead of Laser. Will it matter? Because i've been using Laser for a while now because it works everywhere.

Edit3: And finally, is it worth it to buy a Razer? Does it really affect someone so much, or by all means, a normal-mediocre gamer have no use for it? (I dont exactly have the best response in the world, and i panic quite abit too.)

To answer your doubts, as far as the mouse you are gonna buy is comfortable. That's one of the most important of all aside of the specs of the mouse. Imho, the sensitivity does affect somehow

compared to your current mouse or any cap ayam mouse. And from what i read in this razer thread, razer DeathAdder does have good response. Or maybe you might wanna come down to PC fair to

try those mice, see which one u felt the most comfortable among all.

As for the mouse pads, it is not a must for using razer or any other brand mouse. But without the mouse pads, your mouse feet will exhaust faster cause of the friction between your mouse and the

table. And, razer mice wouldn't cost you more than a high end graphic card. You have to try on it then only you'll feel it. It's just my 2 cents.

Hope it helps. =) Happy getting a Razer mouse. ^.^

Thanks for answering. Can i have the rough price range to expect?

Also, i am using a generic mouse pad, would that still wear my mouse out? Because i never use mouse on table directly.

when i'm drawing, i use the lowest setting on my CH which is 400dpi. when FPS gaming, i'll switch from 400 to 1600 depending on what weapon i'm using at that time.

actually, i rarely use the max 2000 dpi of my CH.. it'll be darn hard to control.. sweat.gif

DA refresh is 179 (189 for leftie), Imperator is 239.

mousepad: i'd highly recommend you to get one, not the generic one, but those purpose made for gaming.

maybe it's just me, but i did compare the tracking of my CH with some other pad, it's different. Subtle, but noticeable.

What do you mean by tracking?

Also, do you feel troubled when doing miniature movements in super-long range shooting/sniping? I.E. The mouse feels heavy and friction-y to move tiny distance.

Just got back from pc fair... Instead of getting any Razer gears, i went and grabbed a copy of Starcraft 2 instead...laugh.gif

The Boomslang was too big for my liking, very low profile compared to even the CH.

while waiting for the 7pm lucky draw, i chatted away with Razerfans-Jack. Very nice guy, i shocking.gif upon hearing the Razer gears that he owned.
