QUOTE(chiahau @ Aug 4 2010, 09:33 AM) But Lachesis is not comfortable to use therefore, I wonder who would buy a multicolour LED Lachesis? too many mice from razer already.. a keyboard that rivals the SS 7G will be most appreciated! Maybe its time for Razer to make a new mouse perhaps? Lol~ Can't wait for the Tron mouse indeed, super cool. Hopefully can get Banshee within September >"< no need for mechanical keys, just give me an arm rest and backlit + multimedia keys is enough for me. |

@ Akiyo;
may i suggest either the DeathAdder (IR sensor) or the Imperator (laser)? the DA is an ergonomic mouse, available in both right and left handed version. the Imperator is an ambidextrous mouse, so if it's laser you're after, it's the way to go. accuracy wise, yes it does make a difference. I use my Copperhead (laser) for both gaming and engineering drawing; and my CH delivers on both occasions. anyways, you can try them out tomorrow, see which is more to your liking.. |

QUOTE(Akiyo @ Aug 7 2010, 12:26 AM) Engineering drawing... is it even remotely possible to draw at 5k+ dpi? The only reason its still working for my games is because i could set the in-game sensitivity to the lowest (Which, in some occasion, on a 1600dpi, the lowest is still extremely high) when i'm drawing, i use the lowest setting on my CH which is 400dpi. when FPS gaming, i'll switch from 400 to 1600 depending on what weapon i'm using at that time.Might i have the malaysian price range for both? DeathAdder is 60(USD?) while Inperator is 80. Edit: Sometimes, i find aiming 1/3 of a head of the enemy extremely hard, Is that the reason why a ultra high DPI mouse is prefered? But wouldnt muscle jerks- still throw the shot off when shooting? Edit2: If the mouse dies or breaks. Is there any repairing methods or replacement methods without buying a new one? I do not expect myself to renew a Razer every year. Also, i am not the kind of players that abuses mouse when i am lose-raging, judging on that, how long would a Razer mouse last? Edit3: Will the game not running at 60fps makes Razer useless? actually, i rarely use the max 2000 dpi of my CH.. it'll be darn hard to control.. DA refresh is 179 (189 for leftie), Imperator is 239. mousepad: i'd highly recommend you to get one, not the generic one, but those purpose made for gaming. maybe it's just me, but i did compare the tracking of my CH with some other pad, it's different. Subtle, but noticeable. This post has been edited by FidelisGVR: Aug 7 2010, 12:47 AM |

Just got back from pc fair... Instead of getting any Razer gears, i went and grabbed a copy of Starcraft 2 instead...
The Boomslang was too big for my liking, very low profile compared to even the CH. while waiting for the 7pm lucky draw, i chatted away with Razerfans-Jack. Very nice guy, i |

QUOTE(charsiewpao @ Aug 9 2010, 04:00 AM) Already upgraded the latest firmware [DC] n driver... don't think so... are you using a cloth or a hard pad?but problem still occured... Does this problem concern with mousepad ? did you try cleaning the sensor? i've encountered this problem 2, 3 times before, all the times caused by dust in the sensor cavity. |

QUOTE(charsiewpao @ Aug 9 2010, 04:24 AM) like i said previously: give it a blow with air (your mouth will suffice)if it's the stubborn type of dust, try to coax it out CAREFULLY with something pointy (i usually use the tip of my mechanical pencil) do it with extreme care, you don't want to scratch the sensor.. |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Aug 13 2010, 02:07 PM) hahaha I actually spend 10 minutes thinking what to reply here.. haha not 2 b fanboy or what geh...i can choose SS also only if anyone can give me some solid conviction on what made SS worth spending extra Actually, both Razer and SS are rock-solid gaming eqs. But, having owned gears from both sides i have to say, 60% of my purchase probability lies with Razer. Why? They got bling bling mang.. For me, i always feel like i'm buying something more than just a gear with Razer. EDIT: think of it this way, if you will. SS = German cars. Purpose built, high performance. Razer = Lamborghini. They've got the looks that matches the performance. This post has been edited by FidelisGVR: Aug 13 2010, 06:09 PM |

QUOTE(AlexLai @ Aug 13 2010, 06:11 PM) Besides, Razer is more well known in these here parts. Based on an observation I've done in game in Sudden Attack, 90% of players know what Razer is. However, most do not know what SS is about. Really? Man, that's sad..Even after SS released the SA Ikari.. that's quite unexpected, i have to say. |

QUOTE(dennis_lcfx @ Aug 13 2010, 07:46 PM) Well what's the use of looks when the performance fails? It's like the same argument: what's the use of graphics when gameplay sucks? IMO both SS and Razer have lousy quality control. bad experience with both of them, i see..well, i never had problems with my SS n Razer gears (except the 5H v2 USB's not-so-pleasing sound quality, which i sold right after getting my Megalodon), so.. yeah. |
