QUOTE(garethlye @ Sep 13 2014, 10:55 AM) Hi ASUSmy, Hi garethlye,Currently using Maxis 10mbps and its paired with Astro IPTV. I do not have VoIP however, i told them to cancel it since I do not use it. The router provided(Thomson) doesn't really have enough wifi range juice, being a ASUS fan, are there any routers currently available that I can purchase that'll work with my Internet + Astro IPTV? Currently our router only able to support the Maxis Fibre Internet, as for the ASTRO IPTV, we are still testing it. Thank you |

Hi ASUSmy
I have read some bits and pieces on how you can use the existing technicolor router and bridge to my Asus router for Astro IPTV. My router is RT-N56U. Do you have a step by step tutorial on how to do this? Everything I find on the net does not give a clear picture on how to do it. Thanks. |

Currently we don't have the correct way to make our router to support Maxis Astro IPTV yet. We are still studying and modifying our firmware to support the Mais Astro IPTV, once available we will let you know. Thank you |

I just acquired an Asus RT-N10U, which was supposed to support Unifi. After acquisition, the firmware 1.0++ did not have the option for the IPTV etc.. so I upgrade its firmware from the Malaysia Asus website page to version 3.0.0.4.374_5517.
I still cannot configure the router to access internet. Is that the right Firmware for the model ? And if it is, May I know the proper configuration step I should be watch out for. I use the internet set up wizard to select PPPOE with special requirement that enabled me to select UNIFI-home option. Username is the xxx@unifi . Still cannot solve the issue. Any help from anyone who also use RT-N10U would be appreciated. Here's my model : Asus RT-N10U Edit: More or less solved the problem. Thanks. Hi ASUSmy and other experienced users,
Do you all know if RT-N14UHP supports Maxis 3G USB modem model Huawei E1762? Or any Asus wireless router that supports this 3G USB modem? Thanks in advance. QUOTE(raynman @ Sep 28 2014, 08:10 AM) It turned out that I added one more 'space' behind the login name. Stupid mistake. The updated firmware, despite written to be able to upgrade to the same device, the picture of that model look different from what I got. So initially I thought this firmware was not the correct one. |

Dear ASUSmy;
Just checking to see whether any ASUS routers are vulnerable to the Shellshock bug that affects all UNIX and Linux systems with bash? If so, what are the workarounds until new firmware release? |

Hi ASUSmy,
Im planning to change my maxis fiber router (thomson) with Asus RT-N12HP. I want to keep the phone call as well (i believe its called Voip). I saw the setting on youtube said Voip on LAN3, does it mean that i still can keep voip? My TM modem is H850a. |

Thank you |
