there is no quota. 9sen/3MB or 1GB is 1024mb X 3 sen=RM30.72
after 2.5GB usage you get rebates

YES WOW 11 mbps. I am getting 1 bar signal and average only 2 mbps. Can someone suggest
why mine is so much slower? Is it my 5 year old notebook pc or the weak signal. Thanks

how was the speed before you put that walls?

what is that walls made of? i would use a little help here smile.gif
*
well, before i attach the "wall", i close my door, i only get rssi around 65 to 66, aftr i put the "wall", the rssi up to 70, if i open my room door, i can get 73.

so far i didnt see any speed increment, because i had test many method to see rssi will affect the speed.

i had try put the yes modem under my bed, even thought the rssi really decrease to 50++, but i saw another increase in transmit power, almost 200++, so i guess, when rssi signal low, the modem will boast the transmit power to get more signal and speed.

so i think this is the different between 3g & 4g modem? this modem will auto increase or decrease the transmit power, when your rssi signal high enough, you will see the transmit power around 138(rssi 70).

even i hide my modem in tin or under my bed, i do speed test, i also get almost same speed. but i think more high signal can get more stable line? is it?

i think this might possible, but this modem is quite new, i not really dare to force open it, hehe... just scraed will spoiled the warranty...

at my house i can get full bar, 5 bar, so i think no need to add extra high gains antenna, for other can get full bar, might need try this method?

Just google wifi antenna.
Since Wimax and Wifi works on the same frequency range, all techniques will work.
*
ya, i also find this idea from google, that wall is made by aluminum foil, use for bbq that type.

yes, more low rssi is better, but that inditaion only work if the number is negative value like -77, -66 is more better than -77. but th eyes modem number is not negative, is positive value 70, not -70.

if you said low is good, how you explain this?

i put the modem under the my bed, the rssi drop to 50++, when i take backm put on my table, up back to 60++, did you means under bed is better than on my table?haha...

No reply from expert members so I did my own experiment. Bought a 3 ft usb cable
and plug the go at one end. Moved it around until i got 3 bars then speedtest and got
3.5mbps. When 1 bar less than 2 mbps.
Conclusion stronger signal higher speed. Quite logical actually.
Next project is to make 3 bar signal permanent he he
