see this line quoted from business times
However, the company was reluctant to commit on any specific figure when asked on the minimum speed of the service. "Because of various factors, it's hard to guarantee on speed. If it's super crowded, it will (still) degrade ... but we will stand behind our promise to deliver three to five times faster the speed you currently have on 3G," said Wing. He also gave the assurance that he has a team of people monitoring the stations and would allocate extra capacity when necessary. |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 23 2010, 10:54 AM) RM399 for Huddle. Rm99 for Go. RM50 for activation fees, no such thing as RM10 for stamp duty. No prices yet for the Zoom or the Buzz since they're launching in December. was at Lot10 yesterday and saw the pricing for both Zoom and Buzz. They are priced at RM599The Yes ID portal has been down because of the DoS attack that happened before, they had to disable the portal to stop the breach further. The only way to check your balance is calling their support number. I've topped up RM100 for mine, and I am as uneasy as the next guy because I cannot check my balance left. |

for people testing using speedtest.net try to choose Bandar Seri Begawan which is currently the best server since KL server give 'unrelisble' speedtest I must say, even in Lot10 it give very low speed!
There could be reasons behind this, when you do the speedtest do you notice that instead of testing from KL where you are from the location is in Sarawak? Perhaps YES network are hosted in Sarawak? |

QUOTE(starship1 @ Jan 28 2011, 12:47 PM) i am in trauma as you are . i have only did less than 10 hrs of normal surfing and no downloading or streaming whatsoever and the usages data summary is at 450MB . i guess YES only encourages browsing on webpage with TEXT contents only . my usage is around 920mb, and its for occasional youtubing, Facebook session each session around 20mb, radio streaming and occasional download of documentsit is only cheap for those who's on the go and on the rush with little time for anything else . i agree the speed is commendable but i think they are moving backward instead of forward with such low QUOTA allowance. youtube will be costly and movie streaming will kill you . dissapointed |
