I also received email reminder to activate.
But I'm letting my pre-registered account lapse because i don't want to commit RM30 "usage" per month.

When YES first came on the scene with their promise of No Validity, No Expiry, I was happy and hopeful.
Then came the MUR clanger.

what do u mean?

i haven't pay the Rm30 but im still able to surf. why ar?

YTL state on their website that 1 hour video streaming is equal to 100MB "Standard quality"

as far as i am concern a video of 35 Minutes 360p is around 150MB

Exactly what I wrote.
Not subscribing to YES because of MUR.

Maybe next year they do away with the MUR?

YES is not for you if you are a heavy user or a very light user.

The don't need credit expiry coz they already required you to pay 30/month. If you don't pay, the still deduct when you reload. Dunno how long below they terminate ur service.

I think it will suspend your account if you don’t have pay anything after 3 month.

Until now, I’m very satisfying for the Yes service, especially for the fast & stable internet speed and very cheap local & IDD rates for the voice call (not sms). So, Yes service is very suitable for the light mobile internet user (not for heavy broadband downloader).

Hopefully, it can be fully coverage in Malaysia like Telco Maxis & Celcom.

Can YTL actually live up to the hype it has been creating similar to P1 over a few years ago? Honestly, if YTL is offering the same speed package with the same bandwidth quota, I'm not going to switch from P1 because there's nothing to motivate us from switching to YTL. However, unless there is a modest upgrade in the bandwidth quota or their products are priced competitively, then there would be some degree of competition going on.
YTL will live up to its promise. For one let us look at the track record. YTL has not touched anything and let it fail.

I have found the whole group to be professional.

They will make it, and make it big.

YTL is targeting different group than P1. Most people interested with P1 will not attracted with YTL. Nobody will want to pay for RM 450+ for 15GB which P1 offer for 130. Unless they want to go for speed (which I believe will not last long).

I agreed with you opinion. Actually, Yes is mobile internet with voice call provider and it isn’t the mobile broadband provider. Don’t always compare Yes with P1 4G broadband. tongue.gif

Yes WiMAX phone already in their store?

the yeslife can only be use when connected to their network via YES-GO or yes huddle.

if you use your house WIFI, it won't connect, this is very bad!
