I'm not sure if u guys got this problem
I`m using Nvidia GTX470, using latest driver i can get (Jan 2011) with installed hi res tecture pack

Setting very high with DX11, (tried on other freature on and off also same)
other than massive low framerate using DX11 i get this

er want to ask, the show minor combat details setting is for what 1? enable will be more combat movement or less? and also what with the setting about something space collision thingy 1? what is it for?

Yes it is a bonus DVD for my CE. Why can't they include everything in a separate DVD for the Signature Edition?

For those having problems with DX11 on even high-end graphics cards, try the latest beta drivers or latest updated ones, seems to work for most people.

How much diff between the hi-res and non hi-res graphic details ? can make some screenshot comparison ?

i think someone posted last couple pages ago, it on demo though.
u cant see the different without using sreenshot, the difference is really negligible.

i prefer smoother gameplay instead.

Very high = DX11
Without the high-res texture pack you can't turn you're graphics up to very high

Okay there is one addition that i think is good though in this game..and so far this is the only other good point(other than the story of course) that i have seen.

There are character exclusive skills that you can pick skills from if you're friends or rivals with them. That's smart...at least a motivation to build relationship...other than...sleeping with them.

Anyone manage to run the game at DX11 Max Settings without getting major frame drops ?.
Tried just now and it looked great however noticed quite a few large frame rate drops . Switched off AA and its silky smooth now. Quite a few people have been reporting that its a driver issue and once they installed the Nvidia Beta driver it ran damn good.

Demo doesnt have "Very High" Setting, so memang u wont spot the different with DX9

although i cant really max setting with GTX470 but setting Very High with AA x2 seems fine without special effect on (better than b4 using Jan 2011 driver)

Wasn't there an option in the first game where you got abilities with NPCs based on how well your relationship with them was?

Anyway, Alpha Protocol did it first (Depending on whether they hated or liked you, you got a perk with them... Meaning, there was no point being neutral with anybody... Either be their knight in shining armour, or a downright bastard to them)

So far though... Pretty fun. Thought the game would be a wee bit easy in Normal mode based on the demo and started out on Hard... Very VERY painful. Especially since the game kinda balances out how the enemies are weak by constantly spamming them on you. Not nearly impossible in Hard, but quite a bit of work since I don't have more than one mage in the party yet and most of the starter skills are simply shit.

A lot of Mass Effect influences around like companion homes and not being able to speak to NPCs while on missions. Not really an issue, but it's there. Thank God they got the load times really short though since there's a lot of traveling between locations. That single gripe about ME2 almost put me off playing my second playthrough.

Enjoying it so far though as a rogue, but the shortage of talent trees that rely on Cunning (Unlike DAO that had that imba ability that used Cunning instead of Dex for damage or something) kinda make it a bit difficult to be an "effective" rogue. That being said, the rogue trees do look fun compared to the others. I might reroll a warrior just in case.

GuyHawke's voice is sitting quite well with me so far. Better than FemHawke's during the demo.

With the new ATI catalyst driver I noticed the tessellation optimization function gonna try it out once I get the game and see how well it performs with it on and off.
